Chapter 111 – Offered to the Lycan King

Mia closed her eyes. That thing that was clamoring inside her to come out, to express itself, was on the surface. It was crawling beneath her skin. Her skin tingled as she focused on her inner self. And then it happened suddenly. The bones in her body popped, they started to rearrange. Mia screamed as pain lanced through her body. She heard someone saying in the distance, “Let go. Let go.”

She recognized the voice. She wanted to reach it, to envelope herself in its warmth, but she couldn’t stop what was happening to her. Her vision changed first, her face reformed and she could see a snout. Her skin rippled with fur and soon she gave herself in. Her beast came out with a guttural roar. She tipped her head up towards the moon and let out a howl.

Far in the distance, she could hear the excited cheers of some people. When she looked around, she saw her brother Hunter standing there and looking at her with appreciation and admiration.

“You are beautiful, Mia,” he said with a grin. Even though he had shifted, she could easily discern his scent amongst all of them because it was the same cedar and mist as hers. But there was this one mysterious, enticing, m*outhwatering smell that exploded around her. It was that of leather and musk. She whipped her head to the right to sniff the scent and there she saw the most beautiful Lycan she had ever seen in her life.

“Mate,” she said in a raw, raspy voice and extended her h*ands for him.

He stood there with his breath lodged in his t*hroat and eyes stinging with unshed tears. He took those heavy steps towards her to reach her because this was the only moment he had been waiting all his life. When he caught her h*and, Elijah shifted into his beast and said, “Mate.” He cupped her face in his h*ands, his c*hest vibrating with a rumble. He wanted to announce it to the world and then take her away somewhere where no one could see his unclaimed and unmarked mate.

As soon as she held her mate’s h*and, he tugged her to him and curled his arms around her. “Mia…” his beast’s voice came out guttural. “Need you…”

Mia smiled. “Need you…” she felt every wire that tethered her to the ground, snapped. The mate bond was stitching itself around them. She brought her arms to his c*hest. “Run?”

He nodded. “Run.”

No other Lycan mattered at this time as Mia and Elijah took off. Hunter was left standing there with a truck-load of confusion. He also ran after them but he soon returned back.

Mia and Elijah ran towards the rolling hills that ended in a waterfall. They climbed the cliff and both jumped into the pool below. They k*issed each other, feeling the urgency to mate, but Elijah controlled his beast because he wanted to let his mate explore the world like a Lycan.

They swam in the pool and then ran downstream where the stream morphed into a river. They ran through the valleys, amongst the wildflowers.

Mia didn’t know that shifting would be so liberating. She was extremely nervous about it, but now she didn’t feel like shifting back to her human form. Every sense was hyper. She could smell more scents. Her vision had sharpened. She could even see the movement of the fireflies and how they left a trail of small fire behind them as they flew. She could see the small pollen of the flowers as they dusted over the petals. Her speed had increased and she could leap over large boulders and fallen logs easily.

With her mate always behind her, she felt safe, protected and loved.

It was just before dawn that Elijah tugged her to him. They were standing on the bank of the river, watching the way moonlight spilled over the surface of water, dazzling it just the way it dazzled the night sky. He pulled her to his c*hest. She gave him a sleepy look and then rested her head over his c*hest. Elijah knew that she was too tired. So he rubbed his snout over her head. “Let’s go,” he said in his beastly voice that was like gravel rubbing together over water.

She looked up at him and repeated, “Let’s go.”

When they reached the outskirts of the castle, the first rays of sun hadn’t come out. But the gardens were full of noisy birds that trilled and preened in the fountains. He took her to a small makeshift cabin. Once they were inside, “Shift,” he commanded her.

Mia jerked her head back in surprise because she had forgotten that she had to shift back to her human form. “Shift,” he commanded her again.

Though it was a command that she was never used to, she liked the way he commanded and she wanted to submit to him. “How?” She didn’t know how to shift back.

“Get your human out. Feel her.”

Mia closed her eyes and focused on her human and the next instant, her b*ody started to shape itself into the human form. When she had shifted completely, she realized that she was n*aked. Shocked, her cheeks puddled like tomatoes. She tried to cover herself. Elijah had shifted too. He chuckled. He reached to a long table where her clothes were placed neatly. He h*anded them to her. Mia hopped into her jeans and a tank top and when she lifted her gaze, she found a very n*aked Elijah standing with his h*ands on his waist, looking at her with complete interest. She didn’t want to see lower but she couldn’t help it. Her gaze slid down. She gasped at the massive e*rection that was jutting out from his h*ips.

Elijah walked to her, his eyes unwavering. Her cheeks heated all the more as she wasn’t able to steer her eyes away from his p*enis.

He curled his arms around her waist and pressed his e*rection in her belly. “Take your fill, Mia,” he said in a hoarse voice. “Because once I get hold of you, this c*ock will fill you to the hilt.”

Her t*highs clenched as a delicious ache settled on its apex. She tore her eyes away from his p*enis to see his beautiful l*ips. “I will wait for that day.”

“F*uck!” he grunted. He lowered his face to her and k*issed her l*ips. He seized her l*ips ferociously, like he would never leave them. None wanted to move away, and when they did, they were p*anting for want of oxygen.

“Wake up, Mia!” River’s voice landed in her ears. “Wake up! Tell me how it was!”

Mia g*roaned as she pulled a pillow on her head. “Let me sleep.” she said with a drawl.

“It is past afternoon!” Hunter’s voice boomed in her room. She got up instantly.
