“Mother needs to talk with your father for a bit. You kids go play outside for now. Little Stone, teach your sister how to use the toy gun. Remember to be back for dinner, okay?”

The cubs ran off to play.

Once the children had run far enough to be out of sight, Sang Luo turned to the affectionate Lan Cang, a charming, coquettish smile on her face. “Did you miss me?”
