Chapter 157: Sunako?
Chapter 157:
Rover jolted, his eyes snapping to the silver-haired woman. He frowned but said nothing, only continued to watch her in silence.
Nanoe glanced at Rover and smiled as if to say: ’See? I told you.’
She said in a cold voice: “Speak clearly.”
The woman trembled, stammering out: “I… I’m not a Survivor. I come from the Oni Clan.”
“Oni?!” Rover heard that and frowned, still saying nothing, just watching her quietly.
“Name.” Nanoe asked in a cold voice.
The girl shuddered, then said: “Su… Sunako.”
Nanoe continued: “Why were you on that bus?”
“I… I can take over the role of someone I kill, and then use their System or their invitation cards.” Sunako said.
Rover was genuinely startled by that. The Oni Clan had an ability that strange?
Nanoe raised her hand and brought it down hard across the round, peach-ripe curves of Sunako’s behind with a sharp, decisive smack.
SLAP!
“Agh! Can you stop hitting me there?! Huhuhu…” Sunako shook violently, tears streaming down her face, but her voice had gone softer, as though that was precisely where she was weakest.
Nanoe smiled: “If you don’t tell the truth, I’ll stop hitting you.”
“Ack!” Sunako shuddered, immediately blurting out: “No, wait, I’ll talk…”
Rover: “…”
He pressed a hand to his forehead, feeling that his neural pathways were simply not equipped to follow the thought processes of these women.
“That isn’t a gift of the Oni Clan. It’s a gift that belongs to me alone. I obtained it by chance after killing a Survivor, and then trained myself in its use. Through it, I’ve been able to claim a great deal of resources from Survivors.”
“I… I can shift my identity between Owner and Tenant, or revert back to being a native, which makes it easier for me to complete quests.”
“I swear, that’s everything I know.”
SLAP!
“Agh!” Sunako moaned, and the sound somehow came out even more provocative than before.
Rover was genuinely taken aback by what he heard. It was common knowledge that when a Survivor died, they left behind all their gifts, abilities, and items.
But the fact that a native like Sunako could still obtain those things was something else entirely. If natives in this world were all like her, there would be a full-scale massacre targeting Survivors.
He didn’t dare let his thoughts go any further. If something like that actually happened, would Survivors in their current state even be able to stand against the power of the natives?
He frowned and asked: “Can everyone do what you do? I mean, can any native, after killing a Survivor, take everything from them?”
Sunako pressed her lips together and refused to answer.
Nanoe smiled softly: “Rover, I know what you’re thinking, but this girl’s backbone is fairly stiff. We can’t break it immediately.”
“I have an idea…”
She stepped closer to Rover and whispered in his ear. When she finished, he looked at her with an expression full of disbelief and muttered: “You actually want to do that?”
Nanoe nodded, her tone serious: “Rover, this isn’t a joke. This is about gathering as much information as possible about this world. We are doing something serious here.”
Rover glanced at Nanoe, unable to understand why she could say something so shameless with such absolute seriousness that he ended up being the embarrassed one.
He sighed and gave a nod: “Fine. I’ll go along with you.”
Nanoe smiled, her finger lightly tapping the tip of his nose: “Good boy. I’ll reward you tonight.”
Rover: “…”
He had the distinct feeling that he was not the Owner of this room. Nanoe was.
Nanoe raised her hand, a wave of pink light enveloping Sunako’s body, and then she carried the girl inside the room.
Rover asked, puzzled: “You’re not having me turn her into a Tenant?”
Nanoe shook her head: “That would be too risky. She is a native after all, and she likely carries many types of magic we know nothing about. One of the most commonly used among them is the Trace Mark.”
“Based on what I learned from the memories I gained when I awakened the Succubus bloodline, the Trace Mark activates if the person it was placed on faces danger, dies, or has their soul imprisoned by another.”
“Turning her into a Tenant would count as a form of soul imprisonment. We still don’t know who stands behind her or how terrifying those existences might be, so we cannot afford to take that risk.”
Rover heard that and nodded, genuinely in awe of how thorough Nanoe’s thinking was, so thorough and complete that he couldn’t find a single gap to slip into.
Nanoe continued: “Outsiders who enter a room would normally suffocate, but that rule applies to Survivors. We should probably run a small test.”
After bringing Sunako inside the room, she suddenly waved her hand and the pink energy surrounding Sunako dissolved.
They waited a minute, then five minutes, then ten. Nothing happened.
Sunako trembled and said: “Oy! Are you all going to say something? Why is everyone just standing there in silence?”
Everyone in the room looked at each other. Nanoe seemed to have already grasped that the System’s rules didn’t apply to Sunako and immediately asked: “You don’t feel short of breath?”
“That… if you loosen the ropes a little, I’d feel quite a bit more comfortable.” Sunako said.
Nanoe glanced at everyone, and they all immediately confirmed what this meant: the System’s rules regarding rooms had no effect on native inhabitants.
Small as this discovery seemed, the implications of it were potentially enormous.
Rover glanced at Nanoe, his eyes saying plainly: ’Don’t forget what you promised.’
Nanoe gave an OK sign.
Rover laughed and shook his head, then turned and went back into his room, with no interest in heading to the supermarket or exploring any new areas.
Truthfully, aside from supply crates, there wasn’t much left that could get him genuinely excited at this point.
If there were something in the supermarket worth having, Nanoe would have already bought it or asked his opinion. If there were something worthwhile in the new areas, Nanoe and the others would have already divided up the task of going after it.
Nanoe and Morie were both the brains of this room, and their ability to plan and calculate was far beyond his.
If they weren’t worried, there was no reason for him to be either.
However, the next two days inside the room were anything but peaceful for Sunako.
During those two days, Nanoe’s magic forced her eyes wide open and made her watch him and the five women go completely wild together. From the bedroom to the living room to the bathroom.
And throughout the entire thing, Sunako remained bound tightly, not once released.
At first she squeezed her eyes shut, but the sounds of pleasure hitting their absolute peak made her crack one eye open to look.
Then, when she decided to stop watching, Nanoe would force her eyes open again.
Not only that, Nanoe even used magic to inflame her desires, leaving her increasingly restless and desperate.
After two days, Rover was sitting on the sofa, five beauties scattered all around him in the aftermath, a sight breathtaking enough to make anyone blush, all of them wearing satisfied smiles as they slept.
He let out a long exhale. Fortunately, thanks to the lucky dice and the special effects he had unlocked through the Mirror ability, his attributes had climbed to an almost unbelievable level, and that was the only reason he had survived this particular battle.
Without that, these five women probably would have drained him down to a dried-out husk.
He leaned his head back and breathed out a long sigh of relief. Two absolutely wild days, finally over.
Rover glanced at Sunako. She was sitting on the floor, still bound tightly, trembling violently. A clear puddle had formed between her knees. Her wide eyes were fixed on his completely uncovered figure, her cheeks flushed so red they looked ready to catch fire, her eyes glistening and damp as though she were on the verge of tears.
She gritted her teeth and stammered: “You filthy degenerates! Shameless! Don’t you dare let me escape, or I’ll…”
Rover didn’t hold back, pressing one foot against her stomach with just a hint of pressure.
“Agh! You… you… that feels… so good… ah no, it hurts…”
Rover: “…”
He felt that even though the women in this room were all extraordinarily beautiful, not a single one of them was remotely normal.
But… that was fine too. Each one different in her own beauty, each one different in her own personality. That variety was what made things interesting and kept him from ever getting bored.
Sunako shuddered, her mouth falling open, her face completely surrendered to the sensation.
“Let… let go of your disgusting foot, you lowly human. I… I… ha… ha… it feels so good… ah, it hurts, it’s filthy…”
Rover sighed and scratched his head, then decided he wanted to take a shower.
Sunako watched Rover walk away and immediately panicked: “Ah! Wait! Aren’t you going to squeeze any information out of me?”
Rover turned his head and glanced back at Sunako, frowning: “You want to say something?”
Sunako tried to compose herself. She snorted with contempt and smiled: “Even if you torture me, torment me the way you did with those shameless women, I won’t say a single word.”
Rover heard that and just shrugged: “Then I won’t need to bother.”
“Heh?!” Sunako’s voice shot up in alarm: “Wait! Are you even a man? Come back here. If you torment me a little harder, maybe… maybe I’ll let something worthwhile slip.”
Rover scratched his head, feeling that what Sunako was after was stimulation, not that she was actually unwilling to talk.
After two days under the influence of Nanoe’s desire-inducing magic and watching everything he had done with the five women, her mental defenses had probably already crumbled a long time ago.
She just wanted a little more play.
That was all it was. She wanted extra stimulation, wanted to play out the scene of a prisoner being tormented, because that was exactly what made her comfortable.
He had no intention of making her comfortable, which meant the best way to torment her was precisely this: not paying her any attention at all.
Sunako watched Rover walk into the bathroom without so much as a glance in her direction and immediately opened her mouth wide, calling out urgently: “Hey! Hey! I’m a woman right here! And I’m quite beautiful on top of that! Just torment me a little! Please…”
“Huhuhu… Torment me, torture me, even just a little is fine. Why are you treating me this unfairly? Huhuhu… Comback, please….”
