If there were cracks in their relationship, her future would be miserable. She was wrong. Delilah didn’t know that Amelia wasn’t one to make life intentionally harder for others. At most, she would be ignored.

“A maid that you can share your burden with. A hidden blade that will point at anyone I want to be judged. She’s our new companion who’ll make life easier for us!” Roy only exclaimed the last part as he feared that some fool would be sticking their ears to the walls in order to eavesdrop on them.

Mart, the father of Yan, was currently doing that, looking very silly.

Dressing up as a maid makes it easier to blend in. To make my disguise perfect, I would be doing what a maid does. At that time, I hope to receive guidance from Little Cookie.” She whispered into her ears, her sultry breath tickling Amelia’s ears, the tips of which turned.
