How can you blame the river for being unjust when the flood is spreading?”

Li Changshou paused and said, “However, the Heavenly Dao is not a dam. Fellow Daoist, you have secretly changed the concept. Fellow Daoist, your Heavenly Dao protects the world and the river itself. The existence of the river bank is to protect the people along the river. A flood is a natural disaster and a human calamity. Living beings plundered nature and obtained natural revenge. That is also the balance of the Dao of living beings. The relationship between living beings and nature was difficult to describe in words. That is also the answer that living beings should seek. Find balance in dynamics and explore paths in changes.I don’t think that what living beings want is right, and I don’t think that what living beings do is right.
