“Your daughter offended us. She must apologize,” A-Da declared.

“That’s right,” A-Er added. “And I’m going to give her three hard slaps.”

“And you! You’re going to kneel and apologize to us,” A-San demanded.

A-Si chimed in, “On top of that, you’re going to compensate us for our medical bills.”

…Wu Tian chuckled, a cold glint in his eyes. Dogs barking at him were one thing. But these dogs wanted to bite his daughter? That was a serious problem.

“The four of you won’t be seeing tomorrow’s sunrise,” Wu Tian said with a chilling smile, his gaze shifting to Bad Dog.

The moment he heard A-Da, A-Er, A-San, and A-Si speak to Wu Tian like that, Bad Dog knew what their fate would be.

A-Da, however, didn’t expect Wu Tian’s response. He turned to Bad Dog and said, “Boss Bad Dog, let’s just beat him up first.”

“Yes, beat him,” Bad Dog said, a playful smirk on his face. “Beating him to death would be best.”

“Yes, yes! Beating him to death would be perfect!” A-Da said gleefully.

A-Er and A-San also looked thrilled, and behind the tree, Wang Wei broke into a smile. Only A-Si felt that something was wrong, though he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.

“Alright, brothers! Go get ’em!” Bad Dog ordered. Instantly, the men behind him rushed forward and started punching and kicking A-Da, A-Er, A-San, and A-Si.

“AHHH!”

“Stop!”

“Boss, you’re hitting the wrong people!”

Amidst the flurry of fists and feet, the four men screamed in agony, shocked that they were the ones being beaten. They were in extreme pain, but more than that, they were utterly confused.

“No mistake. I’m hitting exactly who I meant to hit,” Bad Dog yelled back fiercely, offering no apology whatsoever, much to the four men’s astonishment.

“Hey, what’s going on here?” Wang Wei could no longer contain himself and jumped out from behind the tree. “Bad Dog, what are you doing? Is this what I hired you to do?”

It wasn’t just Wang Wei. The onlookers on the street and the employees of the Qin Corporation were all dumbfounded, unable to comprehend the situation.

“Pfft! Wang Wei, let me tell you something,” Bad Dog spat. “I, Bad Dog, am only the acting boss. Our real boss is someone else.”

He turned and looked respectfully at Wu Tian. “It’s him.”

Bad Dog and his brothers had all personally witnessed Wu Tian’s power. He was a force to be reckoned with. On top of that, the man had connections to the Lanling Xiao Family. How could they possibly afford to offend someone like that? Bad Dog had been looking for a chance for Wu Tian to take them under his wing, and now this idiot Wang Wei had paid them to antagonize him. There was no way Bad Dog would do such a thing. Opposing Wu Tian was no different from seeking death.

Wang Wei, the four thugs, and everyone else who heard Bad Dog’s words were stunned once again.
