Even his six Yuan Shen secret realms were repaired from their sorry states.

In just seconds, his condition went from near-death to bursting with vitality. He was probably even stronger now than before after the baptism from the divine rays!

Zhong Yue stood up and stared back at the goddess.

“Why do you want to destroy our home?” Zhong Yue questioned.

“I suppose, we are the only two Fuxi left in this universe.” Si Ming said in deep sorrow, “I always felt lonely, for every time I think that I am the only Fuxi left in the universe, I feel fear. Thankfully, there is still you.”

Zhong Yue raised his voice, “What’s in it for you? To lead the insect race and destroy the Ancestral Star!?”

The two of them were having their own conversations, neither one of them responding to the other’s words.

Moments later, Zhong Yue calmed himself down and stood quietly, he waited for her to finish her words.

Soon, Si Ming stopped speaking. She looked deeply at him and said, “So please, do not stand in my way. My only people.”

“Is this your path? To destroy our roots? To destroy the Ancestral Star?” Zhong Yue was relentless.

With this blood sacrific to our ancestors’ spirits, we can awaken them and fight against the evil. You are also a Fuxi, you should understand why am I doing this and stand alongside with me.”

Zhong Yue’s heart shuddered, and his blood chilled from her words.

Si Ming pondered but shook her head moments later and said, “No. The Ancestral Star relates to the future of the Fuxi Celestial Race, I cannot leave just like this. My only clansman, you are in my way. Do not blame me, I will not kill you but I will seal you away and keep you safe with me. As soon as I finished our final goal, I will let you out myself. By then, you will be able to understand why I am doing this.”

She raised her hand and extended a finger toward Zhong Yue’s forehead. But right when she finished her words, Zhong Yue visualized the Shao Hao Bell.

A loud sound of the bell toll echoed across the night sky, and the faint figure of bell fell from the sky. Soon, a translucent bell had enclosed him inside of it.

“Young man of the Fuxi Clan, are you the one calling me?” Shao Hao Bell’s voice sounded out in Zhong Yue’s mind, it was excited as it said, “Young man, call me out more often and talk to me sometimes. The imperial tomb is so damn boring that I am rotting already. Is that little mischievous flame around … Wait, is that a Fuxi little girl! Who is she? Your wife? She’s quite pretty.”
