Lin Li came by when she saw the shed. Amon proceeded to take a bed from the Hei Mansion and place it inside the shed. He also took some chairs and a table. Lin Li was very happy with the gift.

“Thank you, brother!” Lin Li expressed her gratitude.

“You are welcome, but I still have another gift for you,” Amon said.

He pointed to the sky, or more correctly, the ceiling of his ring’s space. A distortion appeared there. The distortion turned into a massive window. A view of the outside world was seen on the other side of that window. She could see the Hei Mansion and then the courtyard as Amon walked out of the mansion.

“You can see what I see. You can also hear what I hear,” Amon explained. “This way, you won’t be bored. However, maintaining this window requires my concentration. So, there will be times when I can’t show you what happens outside.”

What Amon said was only half true. While he needed a portion of his mind to provide this window to the outside world, it was only a tiny portion. With his level of concentration, he could maintain it indefinitely, even when he was pondering heavily on another matter. The reason he lied was because there would be times when he needed to hide things from her. He had many secrets, after all.

You can leave whenever you want, but I suggest you don’t do that unless I permit you. Even if you see no one from that window to the outside, you never know if anyone is hiding.
