Julia frowned slightly.

James continued.

His jaw tightened.

“They said they were going to make the world a better place… and that they couldn’t allow any variables to remain free.”

Arthur’s eyes flickered slightly.

James clenched his fists.

“A fight broke out.”

A pause.

“And we lost.”

Yuichi suddenly slammed his fist onto the table.

BANG.

“We lost!” he repeated, his voice filled with rage. “And they took Sakura… and my wife… Himari.”

Silence.
