Following his master’s command, the soldiers dispatched several more raiders. The party fought to the last, but their stamina was rapidly draining. One by one, they collapsed to the floor, panting for breath.

‘Now’s the time,’ Taehyun decided. ‘Retreat.’

He immediately pulled his soldiers back. The surviving raiders stared in bewilderment as the monsters suddenly turned and fled. Utterly unaware of Taehyun’s plan, they could only let out ragged sighs of relief.
