Chapter 103: Rat Poop

Yang Shao was not convinced that the corpse in front of him was killed by a zombie. There were no teeth marks on her wounds.

Each black dot was about the size of a person’s finger. Some were also smaller than the others.

Upon closer inspection, Yang Shao shouted, “F*ck!”

He finally recognized what they were.

“It’s rat poop! How are they so big?”

Li Ran was stunned.

If these black dots were all rat poop, then there could only be one explanation for the sea of black dots in front of her.

“This place is most likely infested with rats. Maybe there’s a lot of food in this building and that’s what attracted them.”

Li Ran voiced her opinion.

Yang Shao scratched his head. He signaled Li Ran to follow him. They went to another room to investigate.

The experimental drug should be in the basement. It would be better for them to fully scout the first floor beforehand.

As they were walking, a burst of violent coughing could be heard, followed by an angry voice.

However, they could not make out what the voice was saying.

Li Ran and Yang Shao looked at each other. Then, they headed towards the room where the sound was coming from.

They slowed down their footsteps and made absolutely no noise.
