She became much more energetic and continued her journey while humming a tune.

Li Ran drove slowly and leisurely.

She saw some villages and glanced at them casually. Then, she let out a sigh. It had been a long time since anyone had lived here. The grass had grown abnormally tall!

Li Ran had driven for about ten minutes when she encountered a roadblock. The roadblocks were blatantly placed in the middle of the road. Had Li Ran not been paying attention, she would have crashed into them.

Her car could have easily been totaled!

She stopped the car in anger. The screeching sound of the brakes alarmed the people nearby.

Two people could be seen rushing out from a house. One was a man and the other was a woman. They looked at Li Ran’s car in shock.

‘A brand new car?!’

It was so out of place in their apocalyptic world.

The man shouted excitedly, “Someone’s here! Let’s greet them!”

However, the woman pulled him back and said warily, “We still don’t know who or what is in that car. Don’t be so reckless!”
