“But…” Her eyes flicked to Miyu, who watched the pair with red eyes and the same dry lips with slight cracks.

But he knew his feelings.

So as Reina watched in horror as his blood leaked in huge amounts into a small bowl that filtered into her IV drip.

He stared into her eyes, his smile broad, and spoke his honest feelings.

“I love you, not as Kumiko’s clone. But as the woman Reina. Whether you started as a fairy, a clone, a cloud or a bug… You are now a part of my family. That will never vanish, the child in your stomach was born from our union, not some gift from Kumiko.”

His eyes narrowed like a cunning fox, then he joked. “How many times did I find and creampie you in secret? Beneath the stairs, in the towel cupboard, during your bath… when you were tending to the garden… do you understand if I speak so bluntly?”

A subtle gasp came from behind him as Miyu struggled to catch her breath.

He turned to her and winked.

Their bodies trembled while their hearts beat faster, no longer slowing to a dangerous pace as his black blood flowed through their tired bodies, rejuvenating and healing them.

Reina’s energy exploded as she covered her face, letting out a gasp of pain as her contractions returned.
