Nikolai’s heart thumped upon hearing the two sudden cries. He swallowed, trying to calm the thunderous pulse thrumming through his chest. The tiny pair of humans entered the world under his watch once again.

But then the midwife’s words came to mind, the fact that Reina wasn’t strong and only appeared strong while being soft like cotton on the inside.

This wasn’t the time for the two to bicker, though; both little girls were glancing up, unable to move their heads, forced to stare at the two beautiful women and the ruggedly handsome man sitting between them.

No, he shook his head in denial of that… because when he reached out to the pair of little pups, their eyes appeared to sparkle once they sniffed his hand.

Nikolai didn’t name his children, though he added some finishing touches or opinions.

He enjoyed hearing the names his wives chose, the meanings and feelings they put into them, half the excitement of their births.

“I will be happy with whatever names you choose, though Elizabeth II, Dhalia and Viktoria are already taken, haha.”

His sudden laugh set the two pups off; unable to endure the loud volume, they began to cry in his palms. The two mothers were elbowing him as they took their daughters and safely tucked them into their chests.

“My lovely little treasure, Suzune, say hello to your mother, father, and that annoying old aunt of yours, fufu.” Miyu held her daughter up, slowly turning her to avoid motion sickness or any neck issues, then, when she saw Reina, the little black-haired fox made a cute noise.

However, it wasn’t Reina she called, as the little wolf buried in Reina’s chest began to make muffled sounds.

“Ah… it seems she already knows that her little sister is just as shy as her mother.”
