Chapter 135 An Accident

When Xiaofeng opened the door, he saw Xiao Ling lying on the sofa and watching TV. Half of her head was revealed out of the backrest. She was huddling herself up. On her knees put together was her beautiful face. Her eyes, which kept staring at the TV, looked dull and lonely.

Xiao Ling might have heard Xiaofeng opening the door. She then turned back with her big blue eyes lightened up, but soon she turned back proudly, with a light “humph”.

“Xiao Ling, what do you want to eat? I’ll make you a feast today.” Xiaofeng washed his hands and went to the kitchen. He was too busy with the game stuff, and barely had any time to have meals with Xiao Ling.

Xiaofeng felt guilty these days, because Xiao Ling was weak, and should eat much more nutritious food.

“Whatever.”

The depressed voice came from another side of the sofa, and then Xiao Ling ignored Xiaofeng like she used to.

Xiao Feng shook his head and didn’t care about it. He thought it for a while and took a frozen hairtail fish out of the refrigerator. He bought it days ago while shopping. It might not be that healthy, but it would definitely be nutritious enough.

Xiao Ling didn’t eat spicy food because she was weak, and spicy food gave her pimples; thus, Xiaofeng cooked a boiled fish with a light flavor. He cooked it in the wrong way and with the wrong ingredients, but with his own special method. Soon the scent of boiled fish rose, smelling really appetitive.

A dish of fish, a dish of sweet and sour pork, and a dish of tomato scrambled eggs. There were three dishes only, but each with a great amount. That was totally a “big” meal for two people. They had few ingredients in the fridge and it was already late, or Xiaofeng would definitely go get some in the groceries.

“Dinner’s ready, Xiao Ling.”

Xiaofeng called her when he had set the table, only to find she remained still on the sofa as if she had not heard him. Xiaofeng felt it odd because as picky as Xiao Ling was on food, she could never beat the food he cooked.

The foolish bother had been feeding her cold dishes for days, that was way out of line!

“I took you wrong. You are such a nice guy. You even cooked dinner for my visit.”

Si Yejing stopped immediately. She smelled the fragrance in the house and her expression changed sharply. Now she was wearing a charming smile and changed her address to Xiaofeng.

Xiaofeng went speechless. Xiao Ling peeked the woman from behind the sofa like an animal trying to protect her pwn territory. She stared ai Si Yejing with resentment, but her beautiful eyes were not much intimidating.

“Why are you here again? I though I’ve told you that I hated you and has forbidden you to show up.”

“But I like you, Xiao Ling! So I want to visit more and get us two attached to each other.” Si Yejing’s smile was so charming and she ignored Xiao Ling’s hostile. Then she turned to Xiaofeng, and she turned unconstrained.

“Go find me a pair of chopsticks! Why are you so dull? No wonder you’re single.”

Xiaofeng held his anger and had no one to took it out to. He had no option but to get a pair of chopsticks for her. Fortunately, he had prepared enough dishes today.

“Xiao Ling, come get dinner! You’re young and you’ll need food to grow faster,” said Si Yejing, smiling. She was being polite to have not started eating first by herself. She was asking Xiao Ling to come.

That was how the big family had raised her. Some of the manners were in her blood, such as the table manners. As a guest, she would never start till the host did no matter how casual the dinner was.

That was part of the foundation of big families. Their family manners were strict, and sometimes even ruthless. That was their way to extend their bloodlines.

Si Yejing was born into a noble family. Xiaofeng guessed that her family might be some ancient martial arts family which paid much attention to discipline.

“How cheeky!” Xiao Ling didn’t want Si Yejing eating the delicacies while she sat aside being hungry. She went to the table with resentment and suddenly said, “But some woman is so cheeky that she hasn’t grown much no matter how much she eats.”

“So Xiao Ling, you should learn from me and grow taller than 1.7 meters, taller than some of the boys.” Si Yejing defused the offense in a subtle way. She had always been proud of her height. Her long leg took even half of her height, and she had even been chosen as the campus queen because of her long legs.

“Really? But how come your chest is so flat? Like you don’t have anything on it.” Xiao Ling was being extremely mean when she was staring at Si Yejing’s thin chest.

Si Yejing was so slender. Boys usually couldn’t get their eyes off her white and skinny legs. Her face looked pretty, too. She was an out-and-out gorgeous woman.

The only problem was that her chest was too flat and thin.

Xiaofeng could tell how awkward Si Yejing felt just now and how hard she was trying to hide it. She ground her teeth and said, “That’s why I need more food to grew better.”

“Stop! That’s my fish!”

Soon, the familiar war of food started again. Xiaofeng remained silent and hid in the corner, eating rice. He wondered why Si Yejing was here again. She dropped in for free meals every few days. That could be trouble.

“Cough…”

Suddenly, Xiao Ling stopped eating and coughed in an unnormal way. She covered her mouth and her face turned red.

“What’s the matter, Xiao Ling?”

Xiaofeng dropped his bowls and chopsticks, and then he came to Xiao Ling within a second. He looked so anxious in the eyes.

“She was eating so fast, maybe it’s a fishbone in her throat. I’ll check.”

Si Yejing said after a moment of hesitation. Then she came by to check.

“Go away.” Xiaofeng opened his mouth and his voice sounded quite cool. Si Yejing’s body froze.

Si Yejing halted for a second and felt her heart had lost a few beats. When she realized it, she looked at Xiaofeng, and somehow she felt so wronged.

The fishbone was indeed stuck in Xiao Ling’s throat. It was a severe situation and it ached so much that Xiao Ling was in tears and puking blood.

“Open your mouth. I’ll check it for you.”

Xiao Feng wiped the tears at her eyes corner and asked gently. Then he raised Xiao Ling’s chin.

It was too hurtful for Xiao Ling to talk, and she could barely open her mouth.

Xiao Feng had no choice but to hold her tiny chin with one hand and opened her soft pily lips. Then he clicked open her white shiny teeth.

Her teeth looked like tinny shells and white rice grains. They were so shiny and stainless. Then Xiaofeng looked into her throat.

Xiao Ling had a small mouth. There was no room in it after Xiaofeng put the second finger in. He could only use his middle finger to check.

The world inside her mouth was a fabulous place. It was filled by the world’s tenderest flesh, tender and juicy, with slime mouth water. Xiaofeng was trying to explore the location of the fishbone. He tried a few spots and as soon as he felt Xiao Ling’s tender warm tongue, he felt numb because that was the most wonderful touch he had ever felt.

He woke up quickly and keep exploring the tongue, the mouth, and her cheeks, but nothing had been found.

Xiaofeng frowned and he tried to look into Xiao Ling’s opened mouth. The only place left was deep in her throat which was the most possible place where the fishbone would be stuck.

“Hang on, Xiao Ling.”

Xiaofeng slid his middle finger into Xiao Ling’s throat slowly. He felt the finger wrapped in tender meat. At the same time, Xiao Ling was retching, with tears dripping down.

Xiaofeng had to do this right now and he had no way to retreat. He kept pushing his middle finger into the tender throat. As Xiao Ling looked more and more anguished, Xiaofeng finally felt something unusual.

“Em-hem! You fool, are you trying to kill me?”

Xiao Ling couldn’t stop vomiting. Her tears made her face blotchy. She was hitting Xiaofeng with dissatisfaction. But she should be fine judging by her vigorous actions.

Xiaofeng had taken out the fishbone. It was long and sharp, with Xiao Ling’s blood on it. Xiaofeng rubbed it into a rice-size lump.

“Just tell us, why are you here?”

Xiaofeng stared at Si Yejing, who was standing aside. He wasn’t being polite, because Xiao Ling would’ve never suffered from the fishbone if she hadn’t been trying to grab her food.

Si Yejing’s heart lost a beat again. She looked at Xiaofeng blankly. She felt so distressed in her chest and sour in her nose. Suddenly, she turned back and tried to walk away. Without any words, she left the apartment, and slammed the door closed.
