The elder returned to the upper platform where the clan elders and high-ranking members were seated.

At the center sat Raviel Revalis, the Patriarch himself. He looked up toward the floating ship in the sky and called for the elder.

“Elder Rendric. Who is that? The ship above the arena.”

Rendric bowed slightly.

“That, Patriarch, belongs to the God Gym Sect, the newly rising sect everyone’s been talking about.”

Raviel raised an eyebrow.

Rendric nodded once.

“Yes, Patriarch. They built their sect there and somehow survived.”

He shrugged, shaking his head.

“No one knows how or why. Some say the man is fearless… Others think he’s insane.”

Raviel only chuckled, hearing that.

“Fearless or insane… perhaps both, but still he was quite a daring one.”

Then his grin widened.

“But soon enough, he’ll learn the truth of that island. The time is drawing near… and when it awakens, even courage will not save him.”

Rendric’s expression darkened. “You mean…”

Raviel nodded slowly. “Indeed.”

He then changed the subject.

“By the way, I saw two people descend from that ship earlier. Who were they?”

Rendric pointed toward the two figures standing proudly in the arena.

“Ah, those two are Rynar and Rynor, sub-branch descendants. They left the clan a year ago and, it seems, joined his sect. And now, Garion brought them back to compete.”

“Please,” Rynar said, stepping toward the pillar. “Watch and learn.”

He didn’t take a stance or even use his mana. He simply clenched his fist and threw one clean punch.

The pillar flared instantly with pale blue light, shocking the crowd.

“P-Pale blue?”

“No way, that’s near the Second Realm!”

“But he didn’t even use his mana!”

The announcer’s eyes went wide before he shouted into the voice amplifier.

“Pale blue! Passed!”

Rynar grinned and stepped back. “That easy.”

Rynor whistled. “Huh, not bad. Guess I’ll match that.”

He walked up casually, hands in his pockets, then kicked the pillar with one smooth motion.

The runes pulsed pale blue once again, making the announcer almost drop his mic.

“Pale blue again! Two back-to-back!”

The crowd erupted in shock and disbelief.

Even some elders leaned forward, whispering to each other.

Rendric, who stood behind the Patriarch, crossed his arms and chuckled.
