He seemed to be calculating something in his head before finally speaking. “I believe this Sunday would be appropriate.”

Sianor nodded calmly. “Yes.”

He clasped his hands behind his back. “The longer we wait, the more time the Black Chimera have to strengthen their position.”

Floren stretched his arms lazily. “Hmm. I was hoping for a little more preparation time.”

Then he looked around the group once more. “In three days…we begin the attack on Draconia territory.”

The wind blew across the plateau again. And this time, the air felt much heavier. A war had just been decided.
