She didn’t do any makeup, as her natural glow and looks were already good enough; after all, she was beautiful enough to make the male students not even listen to the lecture and rather ogle her out, which of course made her annoyed, but she just ignored them.

She would rather focus on the students who were earnestly listening to her rather than focusing on them, and one such student—a student who seemed engrossed in her lesson—was a guy with black hair and purple eyes, and as soon as she asked that question, he raised his hand, making her smile gently.

“As Keryu had answered, Originveil City does not have a fixed position. I can tell that he had seen what the city looks like, but some of you still seem confused, so let me make things clear for you.”

She then pushed the frame of her glasses back again, turning toward the board, and she drew a cone, then another, and another. The students, on the other hand, especially the girls, were stealing glances at Keryu, giggling and whispering among themselves.

Keryu, however, had his gaze fixed on Maleshia, grinning for some reason.

‘First impression’s made,’ he muttered to himself, and by then Maleshia was done with her drawing, and although not very good, one could still tell that she made several mountains.

“You see these mountains? These are the peaks of Originveil City, and these peaks keep floating around the world, traveling from one empire to another but remaining unseen as they hover above the clouds, out of the perception of any being.”

Maleshia spoke as she pointed at the mountains, which seemed to be linked by some kind of pathway, and her nose raised higher as she saw the surprised expression on the students’ faces.

She knew that it was information that would surprise the students, as no one knows about Originveil City until they reach it and hear about it from someone who lives here. It was some strange magic, but it was what it was.

“You people, the first-year students, live and study in the first peak, also known as the biggest peak, as the number of students in the first year is way more than next year.

But this is just a place for you to live; the facilities, such as gyms, swimming pools, parks, and such, are all situated in the fifth peak, which is situated at the center of the four peaks that belong to all four years of the academy.”

Maleshia concluded, putting the chalk down on the table and folding her hands in front of her ample breasts.

“Now, you can ask me anything you have doubts about,” spoke Maleshia as she rested her body on the teacher’s desk.

“Ma’am, Keryu said before that this place played a significant role in politics and power dynamics, but I didn’t understand how it does; could you please explain it to me?”

A girl, with her orange hair flowing down her waist and her eyes of the same color looking at Melishia with a curious expression, questioned as she stood up on her spot, making everyone turn toward her, some looking at her with disgusted expressions, while some looking at her with pity.

Even Maleshia, who heard the girl’s question, sighed in regret. If she knew that there was a commoner in her class, then she could’ve warned her before about what she should be doing, but now it was too late.

Now, due to her asking a question that any noble kid could answer, she made it clear that she wasn’t of noble birth but an extra talented girl from a common household—the type of person who becomes the target of bullying most of the time.

Keryu, however, unlike others, was staring at this girl with his eyes wide open as if unable to believe that she was there as well.

Maeshia answered the girl nonetheless, knowing that doing this wouldn’t really change anything. The girl, on the other hand, with a hint of realization and surprise in her eyes, nodded her head, taking her seat again, but before she did that, Meleshia added, “Also, please meet me after the class, child.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

The girl nodded her head, sitting back in her place, not really sure why the teacher would call her out, wondering if she did something wrong because her classmates also seemed to be looking at her differently now.

But no matter how much she thought about it, she couldn’t find what she did wrong.

“Ma’am, are we not going to talk about magic today?”

Not long after, another girl with glasses stood up, putting forth her question, ignoring the orange-haired girl, who kept looking at everyone with confusion in her eyes, to which Maleshia just shook her head.

“This is your first day, so I won’t be teaching anything, just this session, and you are free to explore the city.”

As soon as those words were spoken, every student in the class sighed in relief. They didn’t want to study today as it was a very important day. They were just sent to their classes after a speech from the vice principal to get familiar with their class teachers and classmates.

*Snore*

But before they could celebrate, they heard a snore from the corner of the room, making them turn to the source of the sound Maleshia included.

All of them saw a guy with dark blonde hair, with his head buried between his folded hands, sleeping at the cornermost part of the highest row.

Another snore was heard, and the guy’s body rose a bit along with it, making some girls giggle and boys snicker at him, but the guy, unbothered by all of this, just kept sleeping like he hadn’t slept for days.

Maleshia, who saw this, had a vein bulge on her forehead, gritting her teeth as this was a bit too much.

She didn’t care if students chatted during her class, engaging in banter and not listening to her words as they were still active, but this guy… this guy dared to sleep in her class, and if that was not enough, he had the gals to snore as well.

She huffed inwardly, the features of that boy getting printed in her mind, as she really wasn’t going to let him go. She, for some reason, felt particularly annoyed by that boy, even though she had yet to see his face.

But then she suddenly remembered something…

‘Isn’t ‘he’ supposed to be the referee of this year’s election competition?!’

Her eyes shot open as she, just like the students, hurriedly rushed out of the class, moving toward the main peak of the academy, hoping to see the same person who had claimed many women’s hearts in the past two years, including hers.
