Enraged Troll
The Gargoyle entangled the battle armor troll, making it impossible to shake off Clark’s pursuit. The Shortie goblin cursed loudly.
“You idiot, get out of Shortie’s way at once, or Shortie will tear you, lousy block of stone, to pieces!”
“Oh, your mouth really stinks.”
Clark retorted while leaping high, spear in hand, then landed heavily.
Strike Support!
“What! Dodge quickly!”
The Shortie goblin operated the battle armor troll to dodge, but Clark’s strike support covered too large an area. Though the battle armor troll avoided the center of the eruption, it was still knocked back by the impact. Taking advantage of the troll’s unsteady stance, Little Black, who had been lurking, finally made his move.
Swish! Little Black appeared in front of the battle armor troll, and the Shortie goblin was momentarily stunned by this.
Little Black’s target was clear – his bone tail swept at the troll’s neck.
Clang!
The ring remained unscathed.
But seeing the premeditated attack on that ring, the Shortie goblin panicked, realizing that their carefully disguised “Mental Receiver” had been discovered.
“Get away!”
yelled the Shortie goblin, while the battle armor troll grabbed at Little Black.
Resurrect!
Vines surged out to restrain the battle armor troll, and although the troll broke free in an instant, the brief opening was all Little Black needed.
Blade Rend!
Both claws stabbed into the ring, and with force, tore it apart.
Crack!
“No, you can’t!”
The battle armor troll swung its fist, Little Black hurriedly defended, but the opponent’s strength was overwhelming, so much so that the armor on Little Black’s blocking arm fractured in places.
After rolling a few times on the ground, Little Black regained his footing, and Clark came to stand by his side. Surrounded and beset, the Shortie goblin was finally snapped out of his delusional confidence.
He understood that his prized ogre subordinates were nothing in front of that “Queen”.
He had to run!
That woman was far too terrifying. Unlike those weak surrounding tribes, she truly was, as the rumors went, a Queen—an existence only Maregof could provoke.
“Run! Ignore them, just get me out of here!”
The Shortie goblin continued to command the battle armor troll, but this time the troll did not move, locking into place.
“Move! You fool! Do you want to feed the ogres?”
The Shortie panicked, shouting command after command. Upon hearing “feed the ogres,” the battle armor troll moved. He began to struggle.
“Yes, that’s it, run, take me to Lord Maregof, and then have Lord Maregof—”
“UWAHH!”
The battle armor troll roared. Sensing trouble, the Shortie goblin watched as, to everyone’s shock, the troll grabbed the iron box on its back.
“What are you doing?!”
Seeing the troll yanking at its “control pod,” the Shortie gawked in disbelief.
“I’ll kill you!!!”
Fighting off the mental interference in his mind, the troll resisted with all his might. Since Little Black had destroyed the “Mental Receiver,” the mental interference was now very weak, and the troll could break free from being controlled.
Grabbing the iron box from his back, the battle armor troll smashed it to the ground hard.
“Ow!”
The Shortie goblin was thrown from his “control pod,” crashing to the ground, and the battle armor troll hoisted his bloody executioner’s axe.
The bloodstained axe seethed with endless hatred and murderous intent—hatred bred from the troll bones piled throughout the camp, all that remained of his Augustin Warhammer tribespeople.
“AAAAAAAH!”
The true will of Augustin, transformed into the battle armor troll, finally awakened. The axe swung at the Shortie goblin, who was too stunned to dodge.
“No, I’m your master, you can’t—”
Squelch!
The giant axe chopped down. The lingering mental interference weakened Augustin, so he only struck the goblin’s arm.
Rather than a clean chop, it was more of a smash, as the axe’s edge was dull.
Yet the troll’s strength was undeniable; at such power, the goblin’s arm was instantly crushed into a mixture of bone and pulp.
“AAAH, aAAHAAA!”
The Shortie screamed like a slaughtered pig, desperate to survive, and managed to free himself, tearing off his own arm in the process. Rising, he clutched his wound and ran off madly.
“My arm! My arm! Lord Maregof won’t forgive you – just you wait!”
The Shortie fled, but how could a lone goblin escape everyone’s encirclement?
The others watched coldly while the ogres began to recover from their Rage, regaining their senses. They looked at the escaping Shortie, while the battle armor troll, too, seized the ring at his neck, clearly meaning to break free from the goblin’s control for good.
“Stop him! Quick, stop him!”
The Shortie cried hoarsely, shouting while still trying to escape.
Hearing his orders, the ogres paused, then ignored the Dread Warrior and charged straight for the battle armor troll.
Smelling that familiar scent from the troll, the giant ogre growled excitedly.
“It’s the smell of food.”
Though their Rage had abated, the ogres’ intelligence remained limited. Having always eaten imprisoned trolls, the appearance of the battle armor troll instantly registered as food.
“Time to eat!”
The remaining seven or eight ogres followed the giant ogre, charging over. Hearing himself referred to as food, augustin recalled all the horrors he had seen.
Before his eyes, these bloodthirsty monsters had devoured his tribespeople alive, their desperate screams and hopeless gazes forever etched into Augustin’s mind.
“You beasts – I’ll kill you all myself!”
Battle armor troll—no, augustin!
A faint red mist enveloped his body. That skill was…
Rage (Tier 3)!
But unlike the ogres who became mindless killing machines when they entered Rage, trolls could overdraw their strength while maintaining a measure of rationality.
“Foo—”
Before the “-d” left their lips, augustin leapt onto the head of an ogre.
“You can all die!”
Earth-Splitting Smash (Tier 3)!
Boom!
The ground split open. Several ogres fell, and the ogre he struck directly was cleaved completely in two.
“UWAHH!”
The red blood mist turned murderous intent incarnate as Augustin, wielding his executioner’s axe, transformed into a battlefield meat grinder.
Ogres’ bodies are tough?
The troll tribe would now teach them what a true slaughter looks like!
