“I’m sorry, sister…!”
In that moment, Timothy evolved.
Even though he was not using his main body, the instant he transferred all his power into his spiritual form, he was finally freed from his physical limitations, from his insecurities, and from his own fear.
Burning gold and green soul flames blazed beautifully, growing into an endless tree of many colors.
And at that very moment…
FLAAASH!
He grasped the truth of his Spiral as he gazed deeply into what lay beneath all the Tiers. An Ancient Goddess of Life and Nature appeared before him, spreading her hands toward him.
“Spiral of Fate – Primordial Harvest.”
His axe became a gentle hand, delicately harvesting the first fruit in months since there had been any food.
Exhausted and hungry, he harvested the very soul of his sister from The Gardener, and at the same time left The Garden completely soulless and weakened.
“Now! Gungnir!”
Louis roared. His spear blazed with immense power and fury, distorting and warping reality as the titanic golden spear thrust forward. It pierced through The Garden’s last core and shattered its existence into countless pieces.
“GYYYAAAEEEERGGHHHHHHHH!”
BOOOOOMMM!!!
The Garden burned and rapidly disintegrated to a subatomic level, disappearing entirely, just as The Clown had died.
Timothy remained there, holding his sister’s soul from another time in his arms.
“T-Timothy?”
“Sister…”
He hugged her tightly, tears streaming down his face.
“I’m sorry… for not being there for you… I… I…”
“It’s not your fault… So please, don’t worry… Use this power from now on, okay?”
FLASH!
Using her leftover Authority as The Gardener, the girl fused it into her brother’s Spiral, helping him ascend even higher.
“Wait, is this…?!”
“Use that power well, Timothy… please… save mom and dad… save everyone…”
“I will.”
He tried to hug her, but she slowly vanished into particles of light, disappearing completely and leaving him alone once more.
Vines and flowers bloomed from his aura, and his Incarnation ascended into a goddess of sharp thorns and roses.
“The barrier barely holds, I believe!”
A voice came from below. Catrise, Fernand, Elises, Robert, Juliette, and several other knights who had survived or been revived after Louis returned had gone down into the farmlands to slay the leftover Entities and Grievances. They returned with good news.
They were all overflowing with the power of the Rings that Louis had shared with each of them. Catrise in particular had obtained a new hammer made just for her, boosting her power as a War Priestess even further.
They had been overjoyed and proud that Louis was alive and had grown so strong. Catrise had been in tears, hugging him as if he were her own son.
However, they had little time for such things and had done everything in their power to help, even if their strength was limited.
Thanks to their invaluable assistance, the Farmlands and the Spirit Barrier surrounding these districts held together, barely. Their powers had helped keep it rooted even after the relentless onslaught of Entities and Grievances produced by the Abyssal Mother’s rampage.
“Timothy!”
“Yeah!”
Louis and Timothy combined their power, quickly refining the entire Spirit Barrier and the Farmlands and securing them into a pocket spiritual realm placed inside Louis’s Inner Macrocosm.
“We’re done here. They’re safe!” Louis said. “All of you, we must continue. Hurry!”
Everyone nodded and quickly took off, flying toward the capital as they saw the giant Abyssal Mother crawling toward the city.
However, things did not stop there. She was not the only threat they had to deal with.
In the chaos of everything happening, a second invasion had occurred, fueled by revenge, grudges, and burning hatred.
The Vultarn High Dominion had brought its army once more. Several Void Portals had opened all around the Kingdom, and the army was constantly destroying the walls and infiltrating.
The soldiers inside and everything else Louis had left for defense, including the majority of the VPI, were currently battling them with everything they had.
“Goddamn it, these Vultarn bastards! The whole world is coming to an end and they choose to invade?!”
Tisha roared furiously, swinging Niflheim and unleashing gigantic slicing waves of frozen sword energy. She split and froze through hundreds of enemies as she unleashed all her power at once, completely unsealing it.
“Well, at least now that everything is going to shit, the Fantasy Worlds are literally melting into Earth, so we can start using more of our true power!”
She sprouted a pair of azure dragon wings as scales grew across her body. Silver horns sprouted from her forehead, and she gained sharp claws along with a larger, more powerful physique.
This entire time, Tisha and everyone from Yggdrasil powerful enough to have lived as long as they had been mostly sealing their true power.
The reason was obvious: they would end up destroying or contaminating the world if they unleashed it all.
But now that Yggdrasil and the other two Fantasy Worlds were already melting into Earth, there was little reason for them to hold back, given the dire situation and the Fantasium swirling everywhere.
The effects of this catastrophe were clear across Frostbane. People who could not resist enough began to crystallize into Fantasium Crystals.
Giant rainbow-colored crystals surged from the capital. Entire houses were engulfed as people failed to resist and started to crystallize.
The walls, which Louis had improved after repairing them, were already beginning to weaken, their Fantasium-absorbing properties fading at the same time.
“Ahhh, someone help meeeeeee!”
A child and her little sister ran through the streets as Tisha saw them being chased by a giant monstrous Entity resembling the twisted body of a person covered with teeth and eyes.
“WHY… ARE YOU RUNNING… FROM MOM?”
Tisha realized it was likely their mother. Unable to resist the Fantasium, she had mutated into an aberration, completely overtaken by her instincts to consume anything.
Until she caught them.
“Mommy noooo! Don’t eat me! Mommyyyyyy!”
As the girl cried, tears falling from her face while she held her little sister, a frozen wave of sword energy struck the mother before her massive jaws could swallow her children.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
“Aah….”
CRASH!
Completely frozen, the mother shattered into countless pieces. Her eyes regained a glimpse of lucidity as she saw Tisha hugging her children.
A tear fell from her eyes as Tisha looked at her with pity.
“Please… protect… them…”
She muttered those words before slowly fading away into Fantasium dust, leaving behind nothing but a small crystal eye and a tear-shaped jewel.
Tisha grabbed them and gave them to the children, leaving them speechless.
“Take these,” she said. “They are what your mother left behind. Treasure them. Now run! Over there, follow that path straight. There is a safe underground shelter! I cannot follow you, but there are soldiers on the way. Be strong.”
“O-Okay!” The elven girl was in tears, but she nodded. She hugged her little sister and carried her as she ran as fast as she could.
RUMBLE!
“More?!”
Tisha quickly regrouped with everyone else: Pekorine, her wife, Helena and the rest of the VPI, including Agent Stone’s team led by Eduard Dickson, Gustaf’s younger brother, the sisters from Spiritias, Althea and Stella, and the dangerous Shackled Saint himself.
And to their disbelief…
BZZZZZ!
The soldiers of the Vultarn High Dominion, their giant magic tanks fueled by demon blood, and the hundreds of Demonic Beasts they brought along to conquer Frostbane were just the appetizer.
The sound of a gigantic swarm of flies reverberated through the skies as they darkened. From there, they felt several immensely powerful demonic presences gathering together to unleash their power at once.
Gathering their Demonic Strength, they pierced through Frostbane’s Magic Barrier, shattering it into countless glass-like pieces.
CRAAASH!
BOOOMMM!!!
A massive magical explosion erupted, blowing away dozens of houses below. The magicians below were a few seconds too late to protect everything. Their barrier only emerged afterward due to poor coordination.
“Is everyone okay?!”
Tisha coughed, waving her hands and quickly clearing the dust. It revealed not one but nine immensely powerful figures hovering above the skies.
“Who are those?!” Helena asked, standing up and glaring back in anger.
“T-They are…!” Tisha muttered. “Wait, are they Vultarn’s elite?!”
“The Malevolent Flies, the members of the Order of the Fly. Apostles and Disciples of the Archdemon that had invaded Earth and become an influential figure in the Vultarn High Dominion…” Pekorine said. “Lord Myrghoul, Sovereign of Infestation!”
“So you know the name of our Lord,” a four-meter-tall figure spoke. He was covered from head to toe in red armor, with a helmet resembling a mask showing the face of a crying man, decorated with flowers and feathers. He held a long golden rapier and rode a giant Demonic Beast shaped like a blazing horse.
The First Malevolent Fly: Lord Pyrrhaxis, the Dawn Incinerator, Herald of Conquest, Tyrant of Flames.
“It seems that we had to accelerate all our plans as the world is coming to an end.”
A cold voice echoed from a young-looking man with demonic features, white skin, short gray hair covering half his face, and a black military uniform. A long scorpion tail was visible behind his back.
The Second Malevolent Fly: Executor Virellion, the Eightfold Guillotine, Supreme Executor.
“Lord Myrghoul has a plan, and for that we must destroy Frostbane first and secure the Queen’s body.”
A dry voice originated from a tall and slender man completely made out of dry black wood, with a distorted face showing utter malice and empty eyes gleaming bright red.
The Third Malevolent Fly: Lord Virethorn, the Root of Judgment, Executor of Heretics.
“Would you be so kind as to let us in, pretty please?”
A young-looking demon girl asked. She had long purple hair, a third red eye, four black horns, and a large pair of fly-like wings buzzing around her. She was surrounded by countless machine insects.
The Fourth Malevolent Fly: Lady Vermiss, the Gilded Infestation, Mistress of Infiltration and Contagion.
“Or we might… have to get serious.”
The Fifth Malevolent Fly: Sir Scorvane, the Red Mandate, Enforcer of Purity.
“Well, if we’re here, why not execute them all? This should please Lord Myrghoul.”
The Sixth Malevolent Fly: Marshal Thornegrave, the Withering Verdict, Arbiter of Spiralwalker Containment and Law.
“Hahahahaha! We’re back here! I will take revenge on that damn prince for killing my cute little pet!”
The Seventh Malevolent Fly: Lady Nyssara, the Peacock of Ruin, Mistress of Cultural Subversion and Glamour.
“Enough chatting. Let’s kill them all, shall we?”
The Eighth Malevolent Fly: General Veydrith, the Web Architect, Strategist of Dimensional Subjugation.
“I can feel the presence of the Queen, but there’s something else coming here… two powerful beings! I believe some might be contesting over who gets her first. We must hurry!”
The Ninth Malevolent Fly: Archmechan Orsynth, the Bloom of Chains, Liturgist of Mechanized Ascension.
“Like hell I am letting you get to our queen, you bitches!”
Tisha roared, overflowing with draconic power as she rushed toward all nine Malevolent Flies at once.
With her god-like full power completely recovered, and as someone who never got rusty because she trained and fought almost every day, she confidently swung Niflheim against them.
“Eternal Winter Blade: Niflheim – Ice Dragon King’s Fang!”
A powerful divine technique was unleashed. All nine Malevolent Flies froze as a wave of ice completely shocked them.
A wide horizontal slash struck them all, sending them flying across the city and scattering everywhere.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
“Heh, weaklings!”
“Tisha, you idiot! You just threw them all away! It will only make things harder now!” Althea reprimanded her from afar.
“Ah…” Tisha realized her mistake. “Oops? I mean, they’re grounded. We can take them on more easily—”
“You must be forgetting about someone.”
“…?!”
“Demonic Festering Sword – Soul Purgatory.”
The First Malevolent Fly, Lord Pyrrhaxis, survived and unleashed his strongest attack against Tisha’s back.
BOOOMMMM!!!
“Kuuaaaaggh?!”
Tisha vomited blood. The giant sword of burning festering miasma pierced her back and through her stomach. Her guts exploded everywhere as a massive hole appeared in her torso.
“A-Ah…”
Demonic flames quickly started burning her completely.
“TISHAAAA!!!”
As everyone screamed, the First Malevolent Fly laughed, lifting Tisha with his sword and burning her body constantly while parading her around.
“Hahahaha! Did you truly believe we are all weak?! That because you cultivated your godly strength in Yggdrasil, you are superior?! This is the resentful power of demons, you foolish woman!”
He threw Tisha into the skies and then charged at her even while she was literally dying, his sword gleaming with burning flames.
Everyone rushed to save her, but the other Malevolent Flies quickly caught up and attacked, stopping them in their tracks.
“Watch as your strongest soldier dies in agony and despair, hahahahaha!”
The Seventh Malevolent Fly, Lady Nyssara, the Peacock of Ruin, laughed out loud as she unleashed her charming powers, suddenly beginning to brainwash Frostbane’s soldiers and turning them against the fighters.
“Demonic Festering Sword – Impaling Torture.”
Pyrrhaxis was merciless. His attacks struck Tisha as countless holes drilled into her body while she burned.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
“Tisha! No! Tishaaaaa!”
Niflheim finally acted on her own, creating a shell of ice and freezing Tisha completely to protect her from dying.
“A mere talking sword dares get in the way of Lord Myrghoul’s wishes?”
“You…! DON’T TOUCH MY MASTER!!!”
Niflheim roared, unleashing her true divine power as all her seals came undone. Her aura surged, elevating her and turning her into a giant dragon made of divine ice.
“ROOOAAARRR!”
“Oh!?”
A mighty roar froze Pyrrhaxis instantly. Niflheim followed by swinging her claws and slashing the giant away, making him crash into the city below as flames erupted everywhere.
BOOOOM!
“Hahahaha… HAHAHAHA! TRULY LAUGHABLE!”
However, Pyrrhaxis stood once more. His demonic flame cultivation was the strongest among all the Malevolent Flies. His very body radiated the flames of purgatory themselves.
He was, after all, an immensely strong Spiralwalker of the Purgatory Spiral and the strongest among the Malevolent Flies, as high as Tier 3.
“I should have come here sooner, but I had to take care of annoying things, such as eliminating all other Orders of the Vultarn High Dominion so ours would stand supreme, and assimilating them so we could completely take over… but that is in the past. Now that I am here, I shall burn this place to cinders and offer your queen to my lord as his new vessel!”
He roared. Flames surged everywhere as he swung his rapier forward. Pillars of infernal flames manifested demonic serpents that hissed and attacked Niflheim, coiling around her and burning her body.
“Nnnggghh…! D-Damn it! He is stronger than I imagined!” Niflheim thought, clenching her teeth. “But I will not give up! Tisha…! I cannot let her die!”
As she roared, freezing winds were unleashed, destroying the flames as she opened her jaws and released a beam of freezing light, beginning to freeze everything.
Pyrrhaxis laughed. Flames surged from his metallic claws as he blocked the entire breath on his own and began to rapidly return to the skies as his loyal Demonic Horse galloped upward.
“What a pathetic display of the power of the Dragon King! Is this all his creation can do?! And to think we even considered stealing you!”
“GRRR! SILENCE, YOU DEMON WORSHIPER!”
Demonic Flames against Draconic Frost clashed in the skies. Pekorine saw Tisha frozen in an ice crystal that Niflheim protected with her life, tears streaming down her face.
“Pekorine! Pekorine!” Helena slapped her face. “Wake up! We cannot just stand and watch. Let us kill the others while Niflheim faces Pyrrhaxis! Once we are done here, we can help her!”
“T-Tisha…” Pekorine muttered. “I… I don’t want her to die again- no!”
“Again?” Helena asked.
“I… wait, why did I say that? It almost feels like I once… saw her die- No, it doesn’t matter. We have to fight. You are right!” The rabbit druid nodded. Her Divinity manifested at full strength as she also developed draconic traits around her body, dragon magic fusing with spirit magic. “Let us do this!”
All of them quickly engaged in an intense battle against the Malevolent Flies, completely unaware that a dark presence had already lurked below the chaos toward the castle.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
“Hahahaha! You are all as weak as you are pathetic! Feeble little worms! Tremble before the might of the Vultarn High Dominion and the Order of the Fly! Surrender now and swear loyalty to Lord Myrghoul, and all of you shall be granted new demonic bodies!”
The Seventh Malevolent Fly, Lady Nyssara, laughed as she spread out her colorful wings, firing dozens of burning feathers toward her foes.
At the same time, her body constantly exuded a powerful Charming Pheromone similar to what the powerful Succubus from Spiritias’ Demon Continent could create.
This pheromone, enhanced by her Spiral, began to rapidly infect anybody that smelled her sweet fragrance, turning them into mindless slaves to her whims.
This even included civilians running away from the battles, forcing the soldiers and the VPI to confront the very people they had been protecting.
“Come on now, this is not fun anymore!”
As she laughed, she spread out her long Succubus wings, spreading an even more potent pheromone that mutated all those infected by her scent into half-demonic monstrosities. They roared aberrantly and fought against the soldiers.
Several soldiers were gored alive and torn to shreds. Blood and guts splattered everywhere as they began to be eaten alive by the horrendously mutated civilians.
“OH YES! THIS IS IT! YOU LOVE TO SEE IT!”
“YOU BITCH!!!”
Pekorine roared. The ground beneath her trembled as giant roots and trees surged into the skies. All the infected were quickly captured by these trees.
Around her, giant sunflowers sprouted everywhere, followed by dandelions, Yggdrasil trees, and more. They all represented her twelve Nature Spirits, which she was finally able to summon from Yggdrasil once more.
“Unleash your power! Divine Nature Spirit Requiem!”
The gigantic sunflowers charged sunlight and Fantasium, firing massive beams of sunlight and bombarding all the darkness that the succubus woman exuded from her body.
The soldiers infected by her pheromones quickly began to return to their senses, but the civilians, who were weaker, remained ensnared by her.
At the same time, Nyssara roared, using the power of the souls she had enslaved with her charm and quickly conjuring monstrous demonic specters to fight, resembling demonic bugs.
“Hahahaha! HAHAHAHA! Plants? SERIOUSLY?! WAY TOO WEAK- Eh?”
RUMBLE!
However, Pekorine exploded with divine golden thunder, appearing before Nyssara in a split second. Behind her was a large golden rabbit spirit.
Her only non-plant spirit.
An old friend that had been growing stronger in Yggdrasil all this time came galloping from the skies toward his master.
Aki, the Thunder Rabbit Spirit.
“Did you say something?!”
CRAAASH!
“Gaaahaa?!”
Nyssara vomited blood as Pekorine’s sharp claws, covered in blue dragon scales, pierced her chest and tore her Fantasy Heart apart.
“W-Wait…! Eeeh?! No way… this can’t- YOU BITCH!!!”
Nyssara lost her mind, mutating into a demonic beast as she attempted to remain alive, but Pekorine destroyed her Fantasy Heart and then unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks, showcasing she was not just a magician.
“Back in my days, I used to fight like this to deal with the threats that the Dragon King and all of us faced! Don’t underestimate me, you little shit!”
“Divine Thunder Beast Form – Lightning Storm Barrage!”
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
Nyssara screamed in agony. Her entire body was completely torn to shreds, splattering everywhere as her Fantasy Heart attempted to shatter and turn into a Grievance, but…
CRASH!
Using her Divine Power, Pekorine quickly crushed the heart into countless pieces, absorbing her Spiral and becoming a Spiralwalker.
The Spiral she absorbed underwent mutation as well, transforming into the Spiral of Beasts. Dozens of spirit beasts manifested around her.
“Well, this might be useful.”
She quickly rejoined the fight as she looked into the skies, clashing against the other members of the Order of the Fly and helping everyone else deal with them, because there were way too many.
The Second, Third, and Fourth Malevolent Flies, the strongest below the first, unleashed their combined onslaught against the Frostbane Army, pushing them back and slaughtering hundreds.
The Vultarn High Dominion army advanced even deeper. Demonic Beasts, soldiers, and Demonic Machines began to tear everything apart and set everything on fire.
“Continue the invasion. Don’t stop,” the scorpion-tailed second Malevolent Fly, the Supreme Executor Virellion, spoke with a plain and cold voice.
He fought by moving across the battlefield and turning into a blur of black light. His hands grew into giant sharp, exoskeleton-covered insectoid claws, tearing through all as venom and poison melted his foes.
“Don’t forget to eliminate your foe no matter what. Show no mercy for what they had all dared to do against us!” the man composed of withering black wood, Virethorn, the third Malevolent Fly, roared. His entire body turned into a giant Treant and spread Miasma in his wake.
He fought by spreading miasma and stretching his body everywhere, sharp roots and branches piercing the bodies of all those that crossed him.
“Fufu, don’t miss anybody!” the fourth Malevolent Fly, Lady Vermiss, laughed, summoning giant Demonic Butterflies and Flies that began to suck the brains and juices out of their victims. “Ahhh, it is so beautiful. We are truly building something wonderful!”
“Enough is enough, you fiends!” Agent Stone roared, charging toward all three of them.
“A mere Esper believes he can fight us?”
“Fool.”
“Indeed, such a fool!”
The three laughed. Virellion charged against him and swung his claws. Agent Stone fired dozens of missiles at him and then conjured Stone Magic in combination with his Psychic Power.
However, the Second Malevolent Fly was tough. Growing dark purple and red exoskeleton across his body, he easily resisted and endured all blows.
Then he swung his claw at Stone.
CRAAASH!
“Ngh?!”
“Stone!!!”
Stella and Althea, his best friends who had seen him grow up since he was a child, screamed while Stone’s body was slashed and torn through.
From his left shoulder all the way down, including half his face, had been completely torn apart. Ribs protruded from his torso, hanging with torn-open intestines and more.
“A-Ah…”
“What a pathetic fool, believing he could fight someone like me…”
Virellion sighed as Stone dropped to the floor, blood pouring from his massive wound. It was only thanks to his superhuman vitality that he was barely alive.
But in less than a minute, he would definitely die from bleeding.
“STONEEEEEEE!!!”
Stella screamed, completely losing her mind as her entire body gleamed brightly. She had been containing herself, trying to spare those around her.
But that anger consumed her entirely as the power of her Spiritual Abilities manifested. Twelve Spirits resembling Angels emerged from her aura and fused with her.
“…?!”
Virellion felt an immense surge of power reach him within a split second as a giant sword of light descended upon him.
“Wait, Stella!!!”
Althea tried to stop her sister, rushing toward her and conjuring draconic spirits that turned into bright chains around her.
But it was too late. The chains shattered and Stella’s power was unleashed at full force. Virellion screamed as he was consumed by the light, pierced by dozens of spirit swords.
“Gaaaahhhhhh?!”
His entire body exploded everywhere, burning to a crisp as the two other Malevolent Flies attempted to stop the light, only to be consumed by it as well.
BOOOOOMMMM!!!
A massive hole appeared across the city and through the city walls as well. Stella screamed, her eyes gleaming bright gold, consumed by her immense power.
“W-What the hell is going on?!” Pekorine asked, rushing toward Stone and using her healing magic while attempting to heal him, completely covering his body with her spiritual plants.
“Stella!” Althea cried, her pink hair waving in the pressure as Stella glared at her with anger, tears streaming down her face. “Sister! Stone isn’t dead… yet. We can heal him! Please don’t get angry!”
“GHHH…!” Stella groaned, grabbing her head as it constantly pulsed with pain. Her eyes gleamed bright red as she unleashed her Vampiric Bloodline, her holy light turning bright red. “GAAAHHHHH!”
“Oh no!” Althea cried, quickly fusing with her spirits and conjuring the heaviest spirit armor she could as a powerful beam struck her, sending her flying across the city!
BOOOOMMM!!!
Everyone else stared in disbelief as Stella started rampaging everywhere, roaring while firing beams from her body. Vultarn High Dominion soldiers and allies alike were all affected and blown away.
“S-Sister… you have always been this way…” Althea sighed, slowly standing up again, coughing blood and cleaning her mouth. “I know you love Stone… I do too… but to think you would love him so much you would go this far… we have yet to train our powers completely since we moved from Spiritias, and… you refused to train with dad too… Now look where that got you.”
She slowly walked toward Stella as she bombarded the Vultarn High Dominion Malevolent Flies, completely disintegrating them one by one. Although Althea noticed that although their bodies died, their Demonic Souls flew somewhere else.
“Now so many things are happening… We cannot afford you to go crazy!” she said. “Since we were kids you have inherited the most Vampire Bloodline from dad, even more than brother whose mother was a vampire spirit… but it was always kept sealed… I need to seal that again, for your own safety and everyone else’s!”
She flew into the skies, suddenly beginning to transform. She became a gigantic dragon made of spirit tree, unleashing her Yggdragon Spirit Form, inherited from her power as the first Yggdragon of Spiritias and a powerful Hero.
“And I will get my sister back!”
RUMBLE!
Turning into a giant dragon, Althea punched Stella through the skies, sending her sister flying across the skies, shattering the walls even more, and then crashing somewhere…
In a sea of darkness, right in the chest of a giantess made of pure malice and grief extracted from the suffering of all those she wanted to save.
BOOOOMMMM!!!
“GUUAAAAACK!”
The Abyssal Mother was struck out of nowhere, crashing through the wasteland with her gigantic body, slamming through a mountain and then quickly burning in agony as blinding spirit light covered her body.
“AAAAAHHHH! W-WHAT IS THIS LIGHT?! IT’S… SO STRONG?!”
“GAAAAAHHH!”
Stella roared, burning her entire body with the immense power she had inherited and trained through hundreds of years since she was born.
As the daughter of Spiritias’ Holy Spirit Saintess, a god-like woman who wielded holy spirit light like nobody else, and of the King of Spiritias himself, a Vampire and the King of Spirits, she had inherited the most power of all three of his children.
The reason behind this was the immense, contrasting power within her Spirit Core, which was born mutated, being two cores stuck as one.
Althea clenched her teeth but widened her eyes as she saw the giant monster being burned by her sister.
“W-What is that thing?! Wait, Entities?!”
She gasped as she saw an army of giant black hands with red eyes surging from the giantess’s aura, rapidly beginning to rush into the Capital.
“D-Damn it! One thing after another! And Tisha is about to die, and Stone too! W-What do I do?! Do I save my sister? Do I go help them?!”
Althea, torn between decisions, did not know what to prioritize. And as she tried to think of a solution, the capital trembled as Pyrrhaxis laughed, conjuring a giant Demonic Pentagram above the city.
“?!”
Everyone fighting for their lives against all the invading threats gasped. Niflheim was slowly falling to pieces. Pyrrhaxis simply was too powerful, and he was now about to end it all.
“Don’t worry, the castle shall be spared. That is where Lord Myrghoul’s new vessel rests after all! Once he possesses the slumbering body of the dragon goddess, he will become unstoppable! But now… if you will excuse me, please perish this instant.
Demonic Festering Blade – Purgatory Formation: Endless Hell!”
With a mighty demonic roar, Pyrrhaxis unleashed the power of his Demonic Sword, forged from thousands of innocent souls eternally burning under the flames of hell. He released its full power as black and red flames rained endlessly, burning everyone and everything.
BOOOMMM!!! BOOOMMM!!! BOOOMMM!!! BOOOMMM!!!
Agents and even allies alike disintegrated as they burned to cinders in agonizing and horrifying despair. Niflheim was unable to stop him and shattered into hundreds of pieces, dying alongside Tisha.
Pekorine and the rest were unable to do anything against such overwhelming power. They burned to a crisp and rapidly disintegrated into cinders.
“HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAH! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT! THIS DAMNED KINGDOM IS FINALLY GONE!!! NOW IT IS ONLY—”
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
“Gaah?! W-What the- AAAEEEUUGHH?!”
Pyrrhaxis groaned in disbelief and agony as his entire body was suddenly cut into countless pieces. Blood and guts splattered everywhere.
His eyes widened in disbelief as his head fell from the skies. A gigantic white dragon had emerged behind him without him even noticing.
“W-Wha…?!”
A blinding golden spear pierced his head, tearing through his brains and making his entire head explode apart.
At the same time, his Demonic Soul surged from his dead body, transforming into a gigantic burning demonic specter overflowing with power.
“M-MERELY DESTROYING MY BODY WON’T—”
“Absolute Pierce.”
RUMBLE!
A golden spear pierced through his soul. His space-warping abilities were instantly shattered. Barriers and aura were canceled as the core of his very soul, and all other hearts he possessed as a half-demon and half-Grievance abomination born in the Vultarn High Dominion, were destroyed.
“E-Eh?”
Then he realized how futile it was to even raise his hand against this powerful and divine being.
But before he could even die, he also saw his efforts come to nothing.
“Heart of Spacetime – Time Reversal.”
TRUUUM!
All the damage he caused, all those he destroyed, everything rapidly returned to how it was before he unleashed his attack. Even those that had died or were dying before were instantly and fully recovered to how they were up to ten minutes ago, the limit of this incredibly powerful technique.
“W-Wha…?”
His torn soul shattered, and each fragment was caught by gigantic jaws made of ashen frost. His head was grasped by the enormous white dragon. Its jaws opened to bite into his soul and devour him mercilessly, increasing the pain he suffered by inflicting a curse upon him.
It was a curse of slowness, making him perceive everything hundreds of thousands of times slower. What lasted mere seconds became thousands of years of agony where he was unable to do anything but suffer.
Eventually, his mind had been so broken he did not even remember his own name before he died completely.
That was how Pyrrhaxis perished in agonizing despair as the Dragon Prince, Louis, arrived in the middle of his dying Kingdom, only to rewind it all back to how it was before.
Those who saw the magic happen opened their mouths agape in disbelief, kneeling as they gazed upon his divine splendor.
“Mom!”
Anastasia cried as she hugged Tisha, while Pekorine ran toward them, realizing they were all still alive.
Everyone else stayed there in silent awe, even as Agent Stone slowly stood up, realizing that half his body was finally back.
Even the Malevolent Flies and the Vultarn High Dominion soldiers returned to life, but were left speechless because their souls, which had gone somewhere else, were forced to return.
“W-Who is that?!”
“The Dragon Goddess?!”
“No, that can’t be…!”
“That dragon resembles her but it is not her, is he?!”
“T-That is…! Who could it be?!”
“At ease, everyone.”
A transcendental, ethereal voice carried through the air and reached everyone listening. The people of Frostbane gasped as they recognized the voice. From victims that turned into Entities to those that died in accidents, thanks to Time Reversal, everyone returned to life miraculously.
“P-Prince… Prince Louis?!”
As they realized who it was, Louis slowly raised his hands. Pillars of light descended everywhere at once.
“Celestial Judgement.”
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
In mere seconds, thousands of pillars of light descended upon every single one of the soldiers invading Frostbane, burning them and disintegrating them. The many giant machines fueled by Demonic Energy and Demonic Crystals exploded, and the revived Malevolent Flies were eliminated as well. Their souls vanished instantly, exorcised from this world.
