“Do something!” Desmond yelled, seeing the condition of his students. Things were going well until suddenly Zeus unlocked his power to the maximum and he became strong enough to defeat the headmaster and his power was still on the rise.

At the rate it was going up, his power would soon reach the divine rank and maybe even beyond after that.

“There is nothing to do.” The analyst replied before he added, “The artifact is at full capacity, unless someone in there dies, we cannot send someone in. And even if we do, how are we going to do anything about him?”

Desmond couldn’t reply to the analyst’s questions because he himself had the same questions and no answer to those questions.

He looked at Michelle, hoping to get an answer but she didn’t have one as well. Sirius wasn’t here because he, along with almost every other powerhouse of humanity, had left for the Dungeon of Diamonds.

All things considered, the only answer they had right now was to do nothing. Because they couldn’t do anything. It wasn’t anything alive that was killing them.

It was the artifact, a memory, and destroying that artifact wouldn’t help as well because now the students were also a part of the said memory, and destroying the artifact meant erasing the memory and every other thing along with it.

“They are on their own,” Michelle said which everyone was afraid to say.

“This obviously isn’t Central Park and you’re obviously not from the Comicon pretending to be wizards from Hogwa*ts,” Zeus said.

Zeus smiled as he picked that up and said, “I’m not interested in finding out the details of this place from you. I just need you to relay a message to the others for me.”

As Zeus finished saying that, his feet lifted off the ground and he began to rise slowly up above in the sky. He kept rising until he was at a considerable height and spoke, “Tell them, they’re all going to die.”

A useless message. A message to invoke nothing but more fear into the hearts of everyone but it didn’t matter. He was still going to say that so they could all learn the kind of existence he was before he killed them.

Live with the image of a being that was practically a god for them.

Zeus raised his hand up high in the sky, straight as a pole, electric tendrils on his hands. Soon after, a huge thunderbolt began to form in the sky above his hand.

“My ancestors….” The old man managed to squeeze these words out. Barely, of course, because it was taking him all to say that.

But it helped Natasha figure out what the problem was but it wasn’t good news in the least.

Ancestral problem meant it was a problem with the soul and no one could do anything about a soul. The pain was permanent and it was going to stay that way.

So she began to heal his mind where the pain was. It didn’t help the pain, but it confused the pain which eased the pain a little and brought a little relief along with a soothing sensation.

And using that opportunity, the old man managed to yell, “Archangel!!!” before he passed out of pain.

The apostle of darkness was lucky he had Natasha to ease off the pain but Astaroth didn’t have the same luxury. He was screaming his lungs out over the pain that was assaulting his soul and his mind and in doing so, assaulting his body.
