Big Poppa, a giant in the world of gangs, a person known to be an S rank tank, was sitting in a luxurious room along with a few other individuals. Three of the individuals were haughty, almost just as haughty as him. However, the last person, the fifth seemed like he was out of place. And the rest made sure to remind him of that by declaring ridiculous conditions.

“I hope you will be behaving yourself. And as you know, it is a tradition for a new boss to pay tribute to the other leaders. It is the newbie tradition.” One of the gang bosses, Horned Lion said. He had spiky hair and a fiery personality like that of a lion that had earned him the nickname related to a lion.

The rest of the three snickered. The fifth one, the new member knew what was happening, it was newbie bullying. Now that they had lost their gang leader, their power wasn’t what it used to be before because the new gang leader, him, was just an S- rank, trapped among the S+ rank monsters.

Even though they belonged to the same rank, just one sub-rank made a huge difference in a fight, there was no way he could go against four of them at the moment so all he could do was submit.

“Of course, I understand.” The newcomer, Denson slowly and reluctantly replied.

The others snickered and began to relay ridiculous commands once again. Like the amount of tribute to be set at sixty percent of the month’s revenue, of course, this incident including, to all of the gangs, with each getting fifteen percent.

It was ridiculous as much as it could but there was nothing Denson could do. He knew the position he was in so all he could do was follow. Once he had done taking over the gang and increased his power, he vowed to come back and take revenge.

The rest snickered, well aware of his inner thoughts but they didn’t care about it, nor were they offended by it. While they snickered and talked, one of the leaders said, “Hmmm… This calls for celebration. Too bad there are no tension outlets in the city.”

“Ahh… Don’t remind me of that wonderful moment. Ahh… How they screamed. I loved it.” Another one replied, remembering the feeling from about a week ago when all the gang leaders had gotten together and celebrated.

Their celebrations destroyed many lives but they didn’t care. They would destroy lives as long as they were satisfied. It was the fault of the people for being weak. No one could stop them so that made them unstoppable.

“Don’t worry.” Big Poppa joined in, “This situation won’t last longer. Once everyone’s back, we can then hunt for more.”

“You’re an animal, Poppa.” Horned Lion said.

“Not as an animal as you. You picked a little girl.” Big Poppa retorted, not offended at least a bit.

“Ahh… Damn. You don’t have to remind me. I remember every little bit of that. It was very enjoyable when she was alive, but the fun didn’t end even when she was dead.” Horned Line made an excited face and recounted that made Big Poppa and others scoff.

“Ahh sh*t. Why did you have to remind me of that, huh? And now I have to have a boy take care of me.” Horned Lion said annoyed before he yelled, “Hey, small chick, get in here. I need to use you for a bit.”

“…” Silence. No one from the outside heard him.

“Hey! Small chick! I’m talking to you!” Horned Lion yelled angrily but still received no reply.

“Haha. Maybe he is afraid of you and ran away.” Big Poppa made fun of Horned Lion which made him all the more angry.

“Shut up.” Horned Lion said with mana leaking out of his body as he stood up and said, “I’m going to kill that womanly guy and then his harlot of a mother.”

He hurriedly opened the door and stepped out only to step on something. He glanced down, and to his surprise, it was chopped-down flesh.

“You have to excuse small chick, he had a little accident earlier.” They all heard a voice, only the difference was that the owner of the voice was casually sitting on the seat where Horned Lion was.

No one said a thing, they were too shocked to do so in the first place. Someone had entered, undetected, from only one door where a person was already standing, of a fairly high rank even yet still somehow this person had managed to make it in.

“Now who the hell are you?” However, Horned Lion was too angry to care. He came in front of the intruder and grabbed him by the collar.

The intruder simply smiled in return before he said, “You should let go.”

“Or what?” Horned Lion asked as he shook the intruder.

“Let him go.” Big Poppa said. Horned Lion turned to him, without letting the intruder go, and asked, “Is he one of yours? This better not be a joke because I will do worse things to him than you can imagine.”

“I’m not.” The intruder nonchalantly said as he leaned back, allowing Horned Lion’s hand to still be on his collar.

“He’s not. He is the fifth imperial prince of the Cortum empire. I don’t need to remind you what would happen if we were to deal with this too recklessly, right?” Big Poppa revealed the identity of the intruder and warned Horned Lion as well.

Horned Lion, on the other hand, just remembered what happened to another one of the gang leaders just a few hours ago. Cold sweat formed on his neck as he let go of the intruder and stepped back. He didn’t apologize though because that would make him look weak.

Big Poppa, turned to look outside, at the cut-up human flesh pile. He couldn’t help but shiver on the inside but composed himself as he asked, “What would be the meaning of this, Your Highness? I didn’t know we were on unfriendly terms.”

Since Big Poppa seemed to be acquainted with the intruder, the others let him deal with the situation. Who knew? Maybe there was something they were missing.

“Unfriendly terms? When were we ever on friendly terms?” Adrian asked as if Big Poppa’s words couldn’t be more wrong. That made the others doubt whether Big Poppa should be leading the conversation or not.

“Maybe, maybe not. But we have done some business in the past, I am willing to believe that we can have a peaceful conversation because of that.” Big Poppa tried to reason, referring to their past and only transaction. After that, Big Poppa kept his eyes open for Adrian to return so he could buy more of the miraculous potion that made him strong among all the other gang leaders.

Adrian smiled as he leaned back and said, “Oh come on now. You don’t really think we can be friends by doing business just once, do you?”

Everyone turned to each other but they were at a loss as to what to do. Finally, Horned Lion said, “I don’t think His Highness really understands his current situation.”

The others worriedly looked at each other while Adrian simply chuckled and said, “Then why don’t you make me aware of it.”

Horned Lion smirked and said, “You are in dangerous territory. I doubt anyone knows you are here, and even if someone does, you may have just fallen victim to the strange phenomenon in the evening. There is no evidence of us doing anything.”

The others, enlightened once again glanced at everyone. Adrian on the other hand, laughed out loud and said, “Now that’s a surprise. You wouldn’t think this guy can use his head with that nasty personality of his.”

Still, there was nothing to worry about. Horned Lion said, “And now that you know that, why don’t you come clean with your motive?”

Of course, they wouldn’t be so reckless to an imperial family member. But, that didn’t mean they didn’t hold the dominant cards.

“Well, I just heard an interesting rumor and came to confirm something,” Adrian said.

“What rumor?” One of the gang leaders asked.

“Well, I heard you all had an interesting celebration last week,” Adrian replied.

“Hah!” Horned Lion scoffed and said, “So that’s what it is. Seeking Justice.” The motive of Adrian was clear for everyone to see.

Adrian smiled and said, “Exactly. You all took something precious from someone. I will also take something from you. And that something has been decided to be your everything.”

“Are you suggesting something here, Your Highness?” Big Poppa asked as he signaled the new gang leader to round everyone up. If Adrian could suddenly appear, he could also run away by the same method.

There was nothing wrong with extra backup.

“No need for that.” Adrian said to Big Poppa and then turned to the pile of flesh outside the door, “They won’t be coming. No one will. They’re all… sleeping, in pain.”

Before anyone could react, Horned Lion jumped at Adrian with his fist alighted on fire but he was surprised, and not just him but everyone when they saw Adrian simply catching his fist and looking at them, “Don’t worry. I won’t kill any of you. But you will sure as hell wish I had.”

Just as Adrian finished, a powerful wave erupted for all the others as they launched on Adrian as well.
