He Lang walked over and brought back the wobbly, three-legged table.

Ruanruan smiled happily. “Thank you, Daddy.”

When they went to the entrance to pay, the old man running the scrap yard glanced at the table He Lang was holding.

“Young man, that table’s a wreck. What are you buying it for?”

He Lang smiled and replied, “My daughter wants a desk to study at. I’ll just fix it up when I get home and it’ll be perfect.”
