After Dong Boyun knelt down, she spoke of her thoughts about retreating to a temple for recuperation.

“I’m not asking you to go back and take it out on her. Our Wang Family has always been stable, and you should not cause trouble. I think your wife is quite good, and now that she’s had a miscarriage, her mind is preoccupied. This is the time for you to be considerate towards her. Dong Boyun lowered her head, covering her mouth with her hand, and began to cry.

Even though she’d decided to let go, the thought of Wang Wen finding another woman made her feel unbearable pain.
