It felt like he finally had her all to himself, like she was finally officially his. Now, all they had to do was wait for their license to be processed and he would no longer have to worry about it anymore.

He squeezed her arm softly. Her arms were thin, and he could still vaguely see the green veins running through the back of her hand. In his eyes, they were as beautiful as a piece of art.
