Together, they tore through the tunnel, leaving a trail of sparking scorch marks, and under the composed gazes of the Neisser apprentices, plunged back into the rapidly closing Teleportation Gate.

David landed and rose, feeling the surging Mana Energy within him. He watched the equally battered mother dragon struggle to her feet and unleash a heavenward roar. A fierce grin spread across his face.
