It was obvious that Attie’s clan had no intention of tying a heavy millstone around her neck. They just wanted her to live happily and freely in her new life.

Reading such a letter no doubt set Attie’s heart at ease. A lovely smile crept up on to her face but as for the matter of serving Baiyi… Well.. she seemed to have not found a correct way to do that yet. In fact, she managed to piss him off again by touching his pots of plants which of course resulted in him pinching her cheeks.

Anyway, everything seemed to be going well at the moment. Even the Celestial Fortress Academy was filled with a festive mood as the anniversary was slowly approaching. Many of the students and teachers who were out came back one by one to the academy. There were some educational tours from other magical or aristocratic schools and not only that, the academy even opened its gate to outsiders for them to visit anytime they liked. In no time, the academy that was usually tranquil was bustling with noise and excitement.

Even the Seniors Park was busy with commotion.

Of course, having such so many people around, conflicts were inevitable. The Celestial Fortress Academy was just a commoner school so the armors of all the Soul Armature were of course inferior compared to those from aristocratic schools. “Urghh… S-Sis Tisdale… T-They’re annoying!” Mia whispered in a cat-like voice.

“You don’t have to be afraid! Just ignore them!” Tisdale patted her head before pulling her tightly towards her own body.

“Miss Tisdale, the most beautiful pearl of the Aegis family. I’ve heard of your fame a long time ago but I never got the chance to meet you. Now, thanks to the Celestial Fortress’ Anniversary, I finally have a chance to see you in person! Please join the ball that I’ve specially thrown for you tonight. Of course, this lovely little girl beside you is welcome to come as well,” A foppish young man who was luxuriously dressed addressed Tisdale, handing a gold-trimmed invitation card over to her.

If that was all that he did, Baiyi would still be able to tolerate it. But, the thing was, his sight had never left Tisdale’s chest from the very beginning. It was obvious from the greed in his eyes that he was undressing her already in his mind.

“Wha…” Just as that young man was about to ask a question, a cold big hand grabbed his head from behind. Before he even realized what was happening, he was smashed in the head by something hard and instantly, he fainted to the ground without even making a sound.

It turned out that when young man was bullying the boy, Baiyi had already made his way quietly behind the crowd and smashed the head of the two men who were the most blatant with their staring together. Then, like a piece of rag, he threw them aside before driving the rest of the crowd away.

After a loud dull ‘thud’, the surrounding turned quiet immediately before the stunned crowd quickly dispersed. Nobody dared to provoke the Soul Armature who was emanating a devilish aura.

“Do you know who I am now?” Baiyi asked coldly. He walked towards the two girls and haughtily led them away from the scene.

At once, laughters burst out among the Celestial Fortress’ boys. In truth, they had expected the outcome. Actually, it was not too hard to figure out. The main reasonwhy Mia and Tisdale could study in the academy peacefully without being harassed was no other than the grey Soul Armature whose fame had long spread in the academy.
