The black Soul Armature who stood closest to Baiyi could see the formations behind him that was slowly emerging and he tried to interrupt his chanting. However, even though he was chanting such a complicated incantation, he still managed to dodge all of the attack from the duo effortlessly without letting it interfere with his chanting at all. The hand seals and construction of the formation did not seem to be affected as well.

SH*T! Is this guy that scary? Even a normal sorcerer would need to stand still completely to do the chanting. As his voice faded, the magical formation that was behind him began to flash brightly in fiery white light. A stream of Mana that was accumulated in the formation started to blend together under the hovering Chi Prowess, forming a faint shadow. It was as if somebody was emerging out of Baiyi.

“Be on guard!” The black Soul Armature quickly took big strides to Undine’s side and used his body to shelter her. Undine, on the other hand, rapidly took out a few Defense Scrolls so that she would be ready to use it anytime.

Soon, the bright light gradually dispersed, leaving behind the shadow which began to form clearly. Eventually, it no longer looked like a shadow but more life-like instead.

The reason why those two people could not see the figure behind was not because there was something wrong with their sight. It was just that… somehow… that thing was just about as big as Mia’s fist

In accordance with the original design of the secret technique, the figure was supposed to be a demonic statue that should be a few metres tall, with three heads and six arms. With a ferocious and grim look, every hand of the statue would be holding a weapon. It would look absolutely gigantic and vigorous. It would definitely give a stunning visual impact!

Did those two old men spend most of their inventing time in the naming process instead? Baiyi sighed exasperatedly. Looking at the two people in front of him who was all solemn and serious, he could not help but give a bitter laugh. It was a good thing that the build-up seemed quite terrifying. Look at how scared these two people are right now!

Right now, the imbecile couple were in a very awkward situation. They had no clue what Baiyi just did. But with such a complicated preparation process just now, they did not dare to act rashly as well. In fact, they felt even more perplexed than Baiyi did…

However, since the secret technique was designed by those two powerful Voidwalkers, it certainly must be something that should not be taken lightly. The Archmage looked very pleased with the current situation and said, “That’s good, though it’s still a little small and unrefined, but at least the degree of completion is still very high. With no other option, Baiyi had ignored the comedic gesture and took the initiative to charge towards the two people in front.

“Here he comes!” The black Soul Armature said in a low voice as he raised his sword to welcome him. But then, as he was getting closer, a weird ” Wah wah wah wah wah ” strange cry could be heard getting closer as well. And with no warning, a stream of miniature fireballs could be seen shooting out from above Baiyi’s head. The speed was so fast it was like a machine gun and soon after, a barrage of fireballs could be seen hitting the black Soul Armature.

“What the hell is this? ” The black Soul Armature quickly raised his arm to block the rain of fireballs. Although the power of those small fireballs were not big and it did not really affect him but the innumerable amount of it greatly hindered his movement.

After a while, another ” Wahhhhh wahhhhh wahhhh” sound could be heard before the fireballs transformed into ice missiles, attacking the black Soul Armature with the same intensity.

Baiyi could not help but feel embarrassed over such that situation. He really did not understand his teacher at all. This is obviously just some simple basic magic. Why do you even need to do all those stupid incantations?

Hi guys! It has been quite a while! What did you guys think about this chapter? I really could not stop laughing when I first read the raw! Such an elaborated preparation — and oh…. don’t let me start on the incantation/naming part —- and all it can do is shooting fireballs and icemissiles? How ridiculous can that be? And the “Aooo aoooo aooo” part of the Archmage, it’s really a joke technique right there! But since I’ve already brought up the incantation/naming part, omg would you look at that freaking reference! It was totally taken out of those animes! EXACTLY THE SAME! Mr. Author, *coughcopyrightcoughinfringementcough*! Anyway, the story is starting to get interesting I think!
