Morning light filtered through the window, casting soft shadows over the cluttered room. Robes lay strewn across chairs, empty pill bottles rolled on the floor, and the faint scent of alchemy mixed with a some heat from last night lingered in the air.

Goldie, the puppet, sat quietly in the corner of the room, its glow subdued.

Li Feng woke up and stretched, then he glanced toward Yue Lan, who lay on the bed, her black hair spread like silk over the pillow. Her soft delicate skin seem to be radiant under the soft light. Her bare breast , half cover by the blanket seem to be inviting him. Li Feng gulp and couldn’t help but reach out for another touch.

Yue Lan’s eyelids started to tremble as she began waking up, sensing the movement and the rising heat on her chest.

Yue Lan didn’t seem to mind his hand but still slapped it away a little annoyingly.

A sly grin crept across his face as a brilliant idea suddenly sparked in his mind.

Yue Lan turned her gaze to him, her golden eye narrowing slightly. “And how exactly do you plan to do that?”

Li Feng watched her leave, a sly grin spreading on his face.

Just as everything seemed to settle down, the system notifications began popping up:
