Goldie stood motionless, silently guarding by the door outside noticing a approaching step.

The clerk swallowed hard, stepping directly in his path. “P-Please, you shouldn’t—”

A rough shove sent the clerk stumbling aside. “Move aside, trash.”

Before the brother-in-law could force the door, a shadow detached itself from the wall. Goldie emerged, with calm but intense presence, his gaze cold and unblinking.

Goldie said nothing. His mere silence and steady stare were enough, a warning sharper than any blade.

Goldie said nothing, only shifted his stance slightly, resuming his silent guarding by the door.

Meanwhile inside, Li Feng’s waist and Wei Meilin’s shaking body never stop. His hand firmly cupped her bare, soft jade resting on the table, scooping it fully in his palm—though it still overflowed, spilling through the cracks between his fingers. She clenched her thigh tightly, crossing one leg over the other in an effort to hold “it” from overflowing. While maintaining her composure, she opened the door just enough for the clerk to hear.
