As soon as she finished speaking, Akira noticed a faint sound coming from his hand.

{T/N: Something similar exists in Canon. The fact that he can sense where the fluctuations are going, even if they are minimal, is due to his Schrift, The Miracle, allowing him to achieve the lowest probabilities through his own will.}

Not long after he departed, several black-purple worms emerged from the sand, their ugly compound eyes fixed intently on his trail…
