“Tch. Don’t worry about it,” Suigetsu shrugged, though a flicker of disappointment crossed his face. He slung the damaged sword onto his back and hefted the large blade he’d taken from Darui. “I’ve got a new toy now, anyway. It’ll do.”

“Boss!” Suigetsu yelled, struggling to keep his footing as the fox bucked and thrashed. “They’re like ants! If this keeps up, even the Nine-Tails might be worn down! What’s the plan?!”

Ren watched the scene below, his expression unreadable. Then, with a final, dismissive snort, he closed his eyes. When they opened again, the Mangekyō pattern was spinning violently.

Without a word, he leaped from the Kyuubi’s head, landing on the ravaged ground below. He was immediately spotted.
