“That boy has gone after Eevee, my lady. But how could he possibly know where it is?”

The girl pulled back her bowstring with calm grace. Her snow-white arms flexed with delicate strength. After a breath of steady aim, she released—the arrow sliced through the air and embedded itself directly in the bullseye.

“He must have obtained the wavelength code from Eevee’s transmitter.”

Her voice was soft but carried weight. With ritual-like precision, she set the bow back in its stand. Her small, sock-clad feet padded gently across the polished wooden floor, every movement dignified and measured.

“Wavelength code? If we hadn’t raided Team Rocket’s research lab, even we wouldn’t have discovered such a thing. How could he possibly know?”

The kneeling man’s voice was thick with doubt.

“There are reports that not long ago, that boy and Sabrina appeared together in Lavender Town. They even fought atop the ‘Tower of Prayer.’ Most likely, he obtained the information about Eevee from her.”

The girl pursed her lips, her calm confidence unshaken. Every word from her mouth was like water flowing steadily from a spring.

“…Don’t tell me the rumors are true—that he has some kind of relationship with Sabrina? If we hadn’t uncovered so much information at the Rocket lab, we’d never have learned that the Saffron Gym Leader was secretly a Rocket executive. If he and Sabrina are connected, we cannot let him find Eevee!”

The kneeling man’s face paled as he spoke.
