Chapter 59: Getting Information About The Gu Worm… Crazy Plan…

Time passed and in the blink of an eye hours had gone by, while cultivating kranos also studied amira, he noticed that through out the dayshe tried her best to gain valuable information while making it seem casual so that the others wont suspect anything.

Seeing this kranos shook his head, “what if someone else walked in on you? How careless!” kranos felt that girl wasn’t fit for a secret infiltration mission at all, if it wasn’t for him, given a few months more she would probably have been caught.

Amira immediately shrank her neck like a frightened rabbit. Kranos ignored her expression and asked, “what’s the update?”

“I received information on the rough whereabouts of the demon. From what i heard ko frequently visits there for no reason, it is probably to check on the worm demon.” she said with a smile.

Kranos nodded at the information, this was truly valuable information, “anything else? What about the condition of the creature?”

Hearing this amira hesitated for a moment before saying, “although the information is vague it seems the demon is seriously injured and cant muster even ten percent of it’s strength, though i can confirm if this information is false.”

Upon heaering her words kranos’ eyes lit up, he knew that all rumors had some truth to it, so either it was most likely true or something similar had happened. Kranos immediately had a plan in his mind. Glancing at the poison pills included in his spatial ring an evil thought formed in kranos’ mind.

“I want you to reveal some flaws in your behaviour over the next week, after that you will head somewhere.” kranos suddenly said.

Amira was stunned, she stared at kranos with her lips parted slightly, “what are you planning?” however kranos didn’t answer, he had already given her the command, he changed the topic and began advicing her on her to let out flaws that seemed unconcious even though they were conciously executed.

Although amira didn’t know what kranos was planning she had no choice as her life was practically in the hands of this terrifying cultivator. After he was done advicing her, he and her discussed some more before kranos dissapeared, amira sat on her bed, exhausted, everytime kranos was in her tent she could feel a faint sense of oppression, now he was finally gone she felt relieved.

Her face couldn’t help but change repeatedly thinking of the new mission kranos assigned to her, she felt that this mission would undoubtedly be very difficult, sigh, master please watch over your poor disciple… she silently prayed in her heart before drifting to sleep.

Kranos appeared outside the tent and after arriving outside the mountain range he began his plan, he took out a cultivation manual from his spatial ring, this was one of the basic cultivations he felt was too weak and didn’t pass on the the cultivators of the academy.

When they were done discussing and amira left they immediately relayed the matter to Ko, who nodded and replied, “i will study her for the next week and if i discover anything wrong… hmph!” after chasing the cultivators away ko began to play close attention to amira, he noticed that the young man seemed nervous about something as though he was hiding a big secret.

Ko was immediately intrigued, he didn’t point he abnormality out rather he continued studying her in the shadows, what they both didn’t know was that over the past week a pair of cold silver eyes hidden underneath a black mask was watching everything as though everything was in his control.

At this moment kranos glanced faintly into a distance and muttered, “it’s time,” saying so he stood up and began walking to a cave he discovered a distance away, within the past week he had already carved certain words onto the cave, ’immortal’s abode, opens only once in a year, you can get anything you wish for.’

Kranos appeared in front of the cave, he let out a faint smile and then sat down under the glaring purple moon light. Beside him were a lit larterns making kranos seem quite peculiar.

Soon he heard footsteps approaching, kranos chuckled inwardly because he could already guess the figure, after all he asked her to come…

Soon the footsteps reached him, the deep voice of a young man immediately called out, “o immortal, you are actually, i heard from my parents that you only appear once a year but i didn’t believe it, now seeing you with my eyes i now comprehend the magnimity of the heavens and earth!” amira exagerated her acting with a bow.

Kranos tried his best to stifle his laughter inwardly but spoke in a solemn tone, “you should know why i descend to the lower plane to grant these requests…”

“In that case what is your wish?”

Amira’s face underneath the mask seemed to curl into a smirk as she uttered in a low voice, “a beast and demon controlling manual”
