Chapter 190: The Sinners Academy Opens It’s Doors [1] — Moving To The Academy
—–
The big day had finally arrived. Trumpets blared, announcing the departure of Prince Louis and his father while celebrating the inauguration of the Sinners Academy—the first academy established worldwide through the cooperation of four different countries. It was not located in any of the four nations, but in a secure Divine Realm that Benladra had left behind. The realm had been further enhanced with the help of her brother, Drakda, and his wife, Amethyst, both powerful Divine Dragons overseeing Mesopotamia.
Yudra, another of the Dragon King’s daughters and Benladra’s younger sister, had also cooperated. She used her powers to create this special pocket divine realm where the Sinners Academy would stand, a safe haven away from the dangers of the world. Here, students could grow stronger without fearing for their lives.
This Divine Realm floated in the center of the Pacific Ocean, high above the seas and clouds, a true floating island accessible only through teleportation arrays or divine flying artifacts such as Celestina.
Today, Louis, his father, and everyone accompanying them chose to ride Celestina instead of using the teleportation array. It was a more ceremonial gesture for the masses, who cheered wildly for Louis. They hoped he and his companions would excel and show the world the greatness of Frostbane.
In the end, it was not merely cooperation between countries but a competition to prove who was best. Each nation sent its greatest and most talented youth to compete in games and sports, displaying their pedigree for all the world to see through live broadcasts.
In the Sinners Academy, Louis recalled these events being called “Dungeon Games.” They took place inside the Academy’s Labyrinth, forged by combining dozens of Dungeon Cores from tamed dungeons originating from Yggdrasil into the Divine Realm.
Dungeon Games occurred every two months, totaling six per year, a demanding schedule. Their difficulty increased as the months passed. The first, however, was only a tutorial dungeon, so it would not be hard at all.
Louis faced the crowd with a warm smile. Catrise and Robert stood at his right and left sides, while Mirai waved enthusiastically from inside Celestina.
“Thank you, everyone! Byeeee!” She loved being famous. She waved one last time before disappearing deeper into the divine ship.
“Thank you for everything, my people,” Louis said. “I will make sure to return with first rank in the Dungeon Games and show the world that Frostbane is the greatest nation on Earth! Beyond that, I will return as a better ruler—stronger and wiser. I will protect this kingdom and its people even better than before. And… we will find a cure to save my mother, no matter what! Queen Benladra is not dead, and one day she will return, awakened by our relentless efforts!”
“OOOOOHHHHHHH!!!”
The people erupted in joyous celebration as Louis delivered those inspiring words. It was exactly what they longed to hear. Louis smirked confidently, nodded, waved one final time, and disappeared inside.
Gustaf remained behind to deliver a short formal speech. He assured them he would return later that day before departing. The castle was, of course, not left unguarded. Most of the VPI had returned, so the country remained safe even without Louis or Gustaf.
Helena, Tisha, Pekorine—all these powerful warriors stayed in the kingdom. Tisha and Pekorine had wanted to see their daughter, but Pekorine convinced them to remain and protect the realm instead. She no longer needed them cheering for her everywhere, a sign of how much she had grown.
As they rose into the skies, Louis gazed calmly at his kingdom, watching it shrink smaller and smaller. Celestina, fueled by his Divine Power—honed through mastery of the Holy Dragon Spirit Soul Vein Technique—could now fly anywhere he wished.
The Holy Dragon Spirit Soul Vein Technique was both a body and soul cultivation method inherited directly from his mother’s legacy. It allowed Louis to harness Divine Power and Draconic Power through Soul Spirit Veins he had forged within his soul and body. For Grand Perfection, he needed ten thousand veins—no easy feat.
Yet by working on it every day, every hour, every minute, and every second for over a year—including the time he had transmigrated between timelines—Louis had eventually mastered its power.
With this divine power, he could do more than fuel Celestina. He could imbue it into his attacks, magic, and soul treasures, evolving them into even stronger and greater forms. Even at Grand Perfection, however, his ability to produce and store divine power remained limited. Still, it proved immensely useful.
“We’re going really high…” Agustina said. “I can’t believe I’m actually going to the Sinners Academy…”
“I can’t believe it either,” Anastasia laughed. “But we’d better get used to it. Look.”
It did not take long for Celestina, now powered by Louis, to soar above the clouds and reach their destination at lightning speed. The giant floating island drew closer and closer.
Dozens of other flying ships hovered around the Divine Floating Island. Beyond the bubble-shaped barrier stood an enormous white castle surrounded by a castle town and a vast monastery.
Within this immense academy building, four giant banners rose high into the sky: the Banner of Frostbane, depicting an ice castle and a white dragon emblem; the Banner of Yamato, showing a rising sun on the horizon alongside Mount Fuji and a central pagoda; the Banner of Camelot, featuring an ancient medieval castle and a crown with a long golden sword—Excalibur, Camelot’s greatest treasure—at its center; and finally, Mesopotamia, illustrated by a city with a golden throne.
“We’re almost there, Master.”
Celestina descended slowly toward the entrance, piercing the bubble-like barrier with ease. The magic and divine dome allowed only certain individuals inside. The view transformed instantly. The surface of the island expanded massively, as though they had entered an entirely different, vast world.
Enormous mountains stretched as far as the eye could see, along with a vast blue sea, a colorful sky with seven different heavens, dozens of other floating islands, and landscapes of forests, deserts, snowlands, wastelands, and more below. The blue seas were dotted with small islands everywhere.
Indeed, it was no small area but an entire Divine Realm of its own. Creatures roamed the land—monsters and spirits from Yggdrasil, Spiritias, and Zipangu. Spiritual and divine plants of all kinds formed vast, beautiful forests and jungles, and much, much more.
“This is incredible…” Mirai gasped as she took in the view before Celestina descended. “I want to explore this entire land! What is this place?!”
“It’s a Divine Realm,” Gustaf explained. “A fragment that has been expanded tremendously large thanks to the cooperation of our greatest benefactors, the Divine Dragons of Yggdrasil. It is the closest thing to the atmosphere of the Fantasy Worlds, so the air here may feel rather heavy at first, but you will grow used to it. It will help you grow stronger much faster, with rich mana and spirit energy everywhere. Above all, it will prepare you for one day visiting the Fantasy Worlds—if that ever becomes necessary.”
Louis looked at his father, catching the tone and true meaning behind his words. “So you’re considering abandoning Earth and moving to a Fantasy World if it cannot be saved?”
“It’s something everyone has considered, and we are actively working toward it—a Plan B,” Gustaf sighed. “But we are far from reaching that point. For now, we have prepared this area. It will help you, our future, become strong enough to face even stronger entities and grievances.”
“Hm…” Louis nodded without further comment.
Deciding to remain quiet and admire the beauty, he moved with the rest of his House members along a long, paved road lined with houses and forests. Small towns had been placed here where elves, dwarves, and other races from the Fantasy Worlds now lived.
These towns served a dual purpose: offering new homes to these people and creating something akin to a pseudo-country—completely neutral to all. Here, nations could gather on true neutral ground to discuss all matters without worry.
Thus, they had placed the Academy at its very center. The country had no name yet and remained under construction, but the town surrounding the castle-like academy was called Genesis Town. Several villages encircled it, with vast farms stretching as far as the eye could see. They raised both magical, spiritual plants and cattle to supply the academy.
As Louis approached the academy’s walls, he saw a large open red gate. Dozens of people streamed inside—mostly academy staff and workers ensuring everything ran smoothly, though a few students were among them.
“So many people, but who is really a student here?” Mirai wondered.
“I wonder the same…” Timothy said.
“Hm,” Zorba rubbed his chin. “Well, obviously those wearing the students’ uniform, right?”
“Yeah, and no student is older than twenty, apparently,” Louis said. “So they’re all around our age. The youngest are Selene and Melisa.”
“Are we?” Selene wondered.
“Aw, so there are no more students our age?” Melisa asked.
Everyone wore the academy uniform, very similar to Frostbane’s military uniform but entirely white with gold and pale blue linings. Each House had its own variation. House Frostbane’s resembled what Louis usually wore, giving everyone an important appearance.
Even little Selene and Melisa wore uniforms tailored to their sizes, looking incredibly adorable. Selene, however, felt shy and hid behind Louis with Melisa. She remained in her beast-like form, her head resembling the skull of a wolf without eyes but with glowing dots of light. She feared discrimination, as everyone else looked fairly normal by comparison.
“Uuh… is it okay for me to be here?” Selene wondered, covering her face with her paws. “Don’t I look ugly?”
