Chen Fan gaped, as he stood transfixed on the ground, the phone in his hands. The saliva in his mouth gradually dried up. “It’s ruined!” He obviously knew the reason why Wu Rouyu had flipped out.

He was going around in circles in his head. Chen Fan pretended like he was a little unhappy, then he said, “Can’t you see that we have nothing going on?”

“I cannot see it at all! I can’t believe that you could resist the urge and do nothing, when such a beautiful girl is staying at your house,” said Wu Ruoyu bitterly. “Plus, what kind of brother are you? “Take it as you like. I’m going to eat!” Chen Fan’s head was a mess. He did not even have the courage to address the issue directly.

“Where are you? I want to go, too!” she demanded to know.

“The food has already been served. I’ll look for you, once I’m done with my meal,” said Chen Fan, while he gestured for the waiter to leave the dishes on the table.

Wouldn’t it be disastrous to invite her to join me for a meal? I should really take this opportunity to figure out a solution, so that I can be done with this matter as soon as possible!

He had only taken a few bites of the rice, before all of the dishes in front of him had already turned cold. Chen Fan then stood up and paid the bill.

“Hey, is this Jiang Shui? Give me a call in 20 minutes. Just say that there is an emergency that I have to attend to immediately,” said Chen Fan on the phone, while making his way home.

“Alright, boss. I’ll definitely get the job done!”

He had been battling the suchosaurus till one in the morning yesterday, so he was definitely in need of some sleep. After Chen Fan touched his pillow again, he fell into a deep sleep in a matter of minutes.

All of a sudden, a thunderous, earth-shattering howl was heard, coming from the underground cave in the middle of the reefs. It awakened the electric eel, who had been fast asleep. It almost jumped out from the water and landed itself on the shore, as it was completely frightened by it.
