At 5 p.m., Chen Fan arrived at a dock at the beach with a lot of bags, big and small. After putting the stuff into the diving cabin, he rode on the eel to the cave. He had left the old dock aside, and bought the new and bigger steel-structured sealed dock, using his father’s name.

He went to the supermarket in the afternoon to buy a meat mincer, calcium tablets, vitamin, glucose, milk powder and some other miscellaneous stuff. He bought these not because he lacked nutrients, but because the eaglet was going to hatch.

It was easy to predict when an eaglet was going to hatch, as there will be some movements in the egg. Since Chen Fan had noticed such movements last night, he stopped turning the egg over, and patiently waited for the eaglet to hatch.

Chen Fan left all the stuff aside and ran toward the second floor of the spire hastily. He could hear the rustle, even before opening the incubator.

He opened the incubator, and saw that the egg had been pecked at, revealing a hole about the size of a bowl. The reddish and transparent beak was still pecking the egg nonstop.

“You are going to hatch! You little fellow!” He was touched to tears, since his weeks of effort had not been in vain.

Who has ever seen an eaglet egg bigger than a dinosaur egg? Who has ever seen an eagle with an 80-meter wingspan?

The water was warm, and Chen Fan took a basin of glucose water in front to the eagle, pressing its bald head, directing it toward the basin.

“Chu…chu…” It seemed as if it was blood-related to the stubborn donkeys — no matter how Chen Fan pressed its head, it was not willing to lay its arrogant head down. But, Chen Fan dared not press too hard, lest it be injured. Chen Fan had no choice but to bring the basin near its beak!
