He felt it: the thread connecting him with several of the pack members who had left with Addison snapped in an instant. His heart lurched as he abruptly stood, staring toward the distant direction where his daughter and the others had gone.

His stomach sank, dread clawing at him, and worry for Addison and his daughter threatened to overwhelm him. But there was nothing he could do now except trust their Princess and her mate, Alpha Zion, to lead their people to safety.
