Checking the waters by dipping a foot first, Cheon Areum spoke up in a low voice.

“I seemed to have lost consciousness for a moment… When did you get back?”

“For a moment?”

Judging by Yoon Seoyul’s tone, perhaps it was better if he just didn’t speak right now. As a side effect of using energy boosters, he had a terrible headache. Yoo Jihyeon frowned deeply upon coming closer to him.

“What?”

Han Kakta asked, standing next to him. Yoo Jihyeon covered his nose with his arm as he responded to him.

“Alpha pheromones.”

“Sorry about that. I thought you would be marked.”

Yoon Seoyul casually handed him a pheromone blocker as if to say he would still have to go toward Cheon Areum and heal him. As Yoo Jihyeon took the pheromone blocker, Han Kakta touched Yoon Seoyul’s face, examining it.

“Is Cheon Areum fine now?”

“Hm.”

Giving him a short mumble as a reply, Yoon Seoyul turned to him once again. Walking over to his side, he crouched next to him as he placed his hand on Cheon Areum’s shoulder and leaned down to meet Cheon Areum’s uneasy eyes.

“He will heal you now. Can you reverse your wings?”

“Yes.”

At Yoon Seoyul’s confirmation, Yoo Jihyeon also came over and put a steady hand on Cheon Areum’s back. As the wings little by little disappeared and as soon as blood came out from Cheon Areum’s punctured back, it was finalized as Yoo Jihyeon healed him quickly. Finishing healing him, he stepped away, and Yoon Seoyul picked him up from the ground easily.

“We’re going home. Don’t use any more energy.”

Hiding in Yoon Seoyul’s embrace, Cheon Areum didn’t reply. He didn’t think he could even if he wanted to.
