“Liam, don’t put any more cigarettes in my desk. I don’t need them.”

“You’re quitting?”

“Yes.”

Liam Sherman nodded. “Understood, President Shaw. I’ll start recruiting suitable private dance instructors. I’ll present you with a few candidates to review.”

Sophia Zobel was panting, shaking her head frantically. “You can’t be in this car! It’s going to explode! Get out, Nathan, get out now!!”

Her voice became urgent and shrill as she tried to pull Nathan Lynch out through the car window.

Victor Vance shuddered violently at her words.

Naomi Kenway’s brow tightened. She made a split-second decision. “True or not, let’s get out of the car first.”

“Okay,” Victor Vance said.

Sophia Zobel’s expression didn’t seem fake. Naomi Kenway’s heart was pounding. She threw open the car door and got out with Ian.
