The walk back from the annex was quiet. The cold night wind blew past us as we walked past the training grounds. Most of the knights had left, but only a few, the hardworking ones, had remained.

The moment they saw me, they all paused their training and bowed until I passed before whispers and the sound of swords returned.

“You should get some rest, I won’t be going to my room until morning. ”

I said to luna who was beside me.

She said politely before bowing and slinking into the shadows. I stretched my body since I could still feel the day’s tension in my muscles before walking to the butler who was looking at me.

“Young master, may I help you with anything?”

I asked politely while opening the door. He helped me take off my coat the moment I stepped through the door. I opened a few buttons on my shirt before turning to him.

“Yes, can you tell me where both mother and sister are?”

I went upstairs to Seraph’s quarters. It was quiet since she did not like noise and rarely allowed servants into her quarters.
