“That’s expected, she’ll experience a strong sense of dependency towards me until her mind gets used to the change.”

“Will this effect last long or is it temporary?”

Luna asked curiously.

“I’m not really sure right now she’s trauma bonding and probably sees me as a dependable figure. It might evolve to love or just remain there, but I don’t think her dependency on me will go down. But time will tell.”

“Can her memories be restored?”

She asked worriedly. I could see the concern and curiosity in her eyes. I stopped and looked outside the massive windows at the mountains beyond.

“I’m not really sure, Luna, but just in case we’ll have to find another option.”

We walked back to my room in silence each lost in thought. The possibility that Luna had mentioned was a jarring matter, and there was also her adoptive parent whose face was blurry.

“Seraph wants a visit to the laboratory. ”

Luna stopped undressing me and looked at me in surprise. I nodded at her silent doubt.
