Axel was a man of action.

As soon as he locked onto the idea of gathering everything, he didn’t spare any effort in realizing it.

Axel pointed at a spot near the ceiling, a point that was essentially an arm’s length away from the next floor’s God’s Mineral ceiling layer. To Fenrir, reaching such a high place was easy.

In a single leap, she reached near the top of the wall.

With a single swipe of her arm, a large chasm was opened through it, enough to fit not just three, but even a dozen at a time.

Since it was “embedded” in the wall, as long as they stayed there, they should be safe from the falling ceiling/floor of the next floor!

“Good!” Axel nodded, satisfied.

The next step was quite obvious.

Axel, Nina, and Fenrir moved there, staying near the back to be safe. He then placed the God’s Mineral ceiling into his inventory before running back to where the two were and watching as chaos unfolded.

Right after placing the ceiling into his inventory, he saw the next floor “fall” into the lower floor, crashing with a thundering growl. But of course, that wasn’t all of it.

Seeing the moving figures below, Axel couldn’t help but get excited.

Of course, it wasn’t because he was scared of fighting.

Instead, with his newfound strength, he was even itching to battle.

The reason he chose to step back was because he knew that he and Nina would only hold Fenrir back if they tagged along—just like when she fought Vulcanus, or when the chase with Surtr happened.

To Fenrir, rather than letting Axel face danger, handling it alone was the better option. Thus, she didn’t object.

“Leave it to me, Master. I’ll clean up that trash and return…!”

Of course, despite her brave words, even Fenrir wasn’t sure if she could win.
