Her voice was filled with genuine fear, making the girls reel back in confusion. After all, they knew how fearless their captain was. It was the first time they’d seen her show fear. Not even the great march of demonic monsters years ago made her look like this!

Clenching her teeth, she recalled the strange power Axel displayed.

“You have no idea of his strength, and you dared pick a fight?!” she emphasized. “You’re lucky he was willing to let it slide. If he retaliated, none of you here would’ve walked out alive!”

Of course, none of them believed such a crazy claim. And in fact, it wasn’t even true. Axel’s interpersonal battle prowess wasn’t any better than Arianne, after all. If they all attacked at the same time, Axel could only surrender.
