Axel returned to his room on the top floor of the castle. He actually wanted one closer to the first floor, but the rest of the girls insisted on such.

He felt tired.

“G-Good morning, Sir Axel…”

Then her body stiffened—as if struck by lightning. As soon as she greeted him, she remembered what Maria told her before pushing her in here.

Eve turned to Axel and placed a hand over his chest, slowly leaning in closer.

“…!”

Axel could tell what she wanted to do, but his arms were still numb and unable to move. Furthermore, he wasn’t sure if dodging would even be the correct answer here.

Before he could reconcile his conscience and desire, Eve’s lips overlapped with his in a brief, playful kiss. The next moment, her body sprang back, hand over her lips, her face burning even redder.

“T-That’s my good morning kiss!” she shouted, her voice an octave higher than usual. “T-Then, I’ll head out first…!” And she ran off after saying that.

Axel could only watch as her bubbly butt waved at him before vanishing past the door.

Axel quickly moved Teruria off him and shouted, “Ah! Wait…!”

But it was already too late.

Arianne had already closed the door behind her and left.
