​Center of House Crimson Territory, Crimsonfell

​In the far corner of the city, deep within the grounds.

​Inside a large ornate hall, which gave off an eerie, secretive aura. In the middle, there was a huge round table. Surrounding it sat ten men, all dressed in typical black assassin robes.

​”Explain”

​A hoarse, heavy voice echoed around the table, though it was a simple, single word. The effect it had on the assassins was anything but simple. It came from the centermost seat. The Assassin’s Leader!

​All of them were sweating bullets; there was no need for killing intent. The coldness behind that single word promised a brutal end if any anomaly was detected.

​Finally, one of the assassins couldn’t take it any longer. He spoke in a trembling voice.

​”W-we don’t understand it either, M-master. Our two branches were d-destroyed and thousands killed and l-looted, but there wasn’t a single trace of the enemies. Even our detection abilities fai–”

​Just as he was about to finish his words, his head rolled onto the ground. Seeing this, the other assassins’ faces turned ashen.

​Failure, that was the one word their Leader detested the most!

​”I did not ask for explanations. Fix this mess in a week…Or there are other assassins in the queue who will happily take your position.”

​Saying that, he vanished. As soon as he was gone, the dense, heavy pressure vanished, allowing them to sigh in relief.

​Without proper capital, there’s no way they can build it so early and quickly. He swept his eyes across the men.

​”Send a few Soul Tempering-level cultivators and investigate this thoroughly. The thieves definitely won’t stay hidden in the Crimson Territory forever. Go to the Silverleaf forest for investigation. If anyone seems suspicious, capture them and interrogate them! We only have a week to give the leader an answer. So be quick!!”

​He barked a few orders before vanishing, and other assassins, after one cold look at the corpse, vanished.

​In a large open area, on a small cliff sat an otherworldly being. Surrounding him were three women, anxiously watching the seemingly relaxed bastard.

​This was the same guy who had looted and destroyed three branches of the notorious Blackoath syndicate in the northern territory.

​The syndicate’s branches stretched across the whole continent, and this…these guys just destroyed it like it was nothing.

​Even Seris, who was usually a jolly girl, wore a worried expression.

​”Why the long faces? Do you even understand how rich we are right now? Hah, you guys are so boring. These are the times I miss my adorable Karma.” Rahu shook his head and let out a dramatic sigh.

​”Look at this bastard, here we are so worried. But this guy is just lazing around!?” Vivianne hissed, attempting to pull Rahu’s cheeks.

​Did this guy seriously not understand the situation yet? What if they send Soul Tempering veteran cultivators!?

​”Little peach, I know it’s been several days since you had my dick, but aren’t your urges too much that it’s affecting your mood to this level?” Rahu smirked, pulling back out of her reach.

​”Rascal!” Vivianne’s neck instantly reddened; she was truly a fine specimen. She hit his chest a few times and pouted!

​After a bit of teasing, both Zira and Seris. He slowly stood up, stretching his arms. The three girls blushed; it was too much! This guy was a walking trap! They needed to stay strong here; otherwise, he would definitely tease them again.

​Turning his head, he glanced towards the Crimson territory as a small smirk spread across his face.

​”Seris, are all the items I gave you placed correctly?” Rahu asked, his eyes still locked at the northern territory.

​”Yes, all are placed correctly, and I have even added extra protection!”

​Hearing his words, Seris nodded seriously.

​”Good”

​”Vivianne, how are those three beasts that have entered the formation?”

​He spoke, his tone a bit serious this time.

​”Yes, so far they haven’t shown any signs of aggression. But I don’t know how long they are going to stay like that,” Vivianne nodded and answered him. Her voice sounded a bit worried.

​”Not a problem, we will soon be expecting guests anyway,” Rahu smiled and finally turned towards them.

​”Let’s go and remember this; no matter what the situation, if you feel something is wrong, retreat immediately, aside from that, take your positions and don’t slack.”

​Just as he was about to give some other minor instructions. A voice echoed in his head.

“Boss! They are here!”
