​”Well, I could’ve chatted with you a bit more, but unfortunately, I’m a busy man. Too many things to take, too many lives to ruin.” Rahu shook his head. Stepping towards the bed, he gently lifted Lirae and Larae and flung them on his shoulders.

​”Hey..!” His voice cracked. “Where are you—!?”

Rahu turned, a single raised finger silencing the room.

​”Shh, they are sleeping, you know.”

​A small glimmer on the tip of his fingers.

​A wet snk echoed, sharp. The light flicked across Darak’s mouth, his tongue severed mid-cry. He jerked his head involuntarily as intense pain flared like lightning.

​”Ghh—! Hhk! MMh!”

​His voice turned into animalistic whimpers, watching him struggle, Rahu nodded.

​”Well, just for safety, you know? I need a few seconds to get out of here, and I’d hate for a freshly cucked man to ruin the moment with all that screaming.” Rahu grinned. Darak’s hate shot through the roof, even with his meridians sealed and bloodline in a conflict with the poison.

​He glared at Rahu with pure hatred in his eyes. If eyes could kill, Rahu would be dead a thousand times over—but they did not.

​”Heh, remember my name. Uhar Kindhar, I won’t kill you just yet. After all, you’re too useful to be dead. If you want your wives back, you’ll have to fight our leader first. Heh, good luck and thanks for the meal! Bahahaha!!”
