In some ways, better control was more valuable than more power.

And that was why Jin aimed to comprehend as many Intents as humanly possible, no matter how negligible the direct power increase. As a bonus, his chances of successfully creating an Embryo of Infinity and getting that Embryo as close to his vision of maximum potential would also increase.

“Yes, yes, I believe I am,” replied Jin with a slight smile, his entire presence far different from what it was the day prior. He even seemed to have grown an inch or two.

’I heard Prince Arthur was revealed to be one of the most talented geniuses of this generation, tied with the Penta-Element Shadow Kingdom prodigy, but this… Is this not more than a little ridiculous?’ The maid questioned to herself while escorting Jin to the dining room that resided on the other side of the palace. It was there that he had breakfast with his family.

“Now, as you may have realized,” the Dean continued, “neither I nor the Academy itself tolerates the weak-willed or incompetent. The Gravity Run ensured you understood that point, and I hope—for your sakes—that you continue to strive for excellence throughout your stay here at the Academy.”

“If you don’t, however, live up to our expectations—and the expectations of your parents and guardians—then you won’t last long here.” The Dean’s menacing gaze bore a hole in all who lay at the opposite end of it. “And this stands true no matter your status. Even if you’re royalty or a loved heir of a renowned family, it doesn’t change anything. You can be expelled all the same.”

A deafening silence filled the air among the large crowd of uniformed students.

“But if you’re prepared to do whatever it takes to make it to your graduation ceremony, I sincerely welcome you to Moon God Academy.”

Dean Lionheart stepped down from a podium, his steps thundering out like the gongs of reckoning. On his way down, he caught sight of the unusual-looking youth that stole the show the day prior, and alongside a satisfactory smile, a sense of confusion emerged.

He had no clue why, but he felt like there was something different about Crown Prince Arthur—like he changed monumentally from the day prior.
