During the traveling, they were also planning to stay in a few other cities but for only one day or so. Among those cities, one name made both Elise and Peria excited.

The name of this city was Osma and it was a city famous for its hot springs. Many ladies believed that bathing in the hot spring of this city could increase someone’s beauty. So the ladies here were looking forward to it.

The other cities on the way were just regular ones, so they were not exciting. But what was exciting was the ruin that Weiss was planning to explore.

This ruin was the same one that Count Falgur had explored before and here he had found his beloved axe. That axe currently had become Karl’s weapon as it suited his fighting style very well.

As Weiss stepped foot inside the forest, almost immediately she sensed that two powerful monsters were coming toward her. After some time, a small white snake came jumping at her and coiled herself around Weiss’s body and soon after that a 3 meter tall ape also appeared before her with a stupid but adorable smile on his face.

Weiss spent quite some time petting them and playing with them. She had found out that this activity had a positive effect on both her and the beasts’ mental condition and also helped her in learning more about the pets.

So after finding this out, Weiss had very frequently started to pet the beasts and had played with them quite often. This had also made the pets to be very happy.

They were also sad because Weiss would be gone for some time. So while playing with her, they were extra enthusiastic on this day. And even though her facial expression still did not change, Weiss did indulge the the two beasts a bit more than usual today.

Early the next day, the inhabitants of the Souran Castle bid goodbye to Weiss, Elise and Peria. Elise and Peria were also extremely beloved figures among the people working in the castle, so many of them were somewhat sad.
