At nine o’clock in the evening Jakarta time, Dean was still asleep but looked restless. He tilted right and left as he said, “don’t hate me, Clarissa… Don’t.. don’t!”

Dean got out of bed and walked to the bathroom, stripped off all his clothes, then turned on the shower and stood under it. The man closed his eyes feeling the freshwater slowly running down his body. But suddenly the images of him being in the bathroom, then making out with Bryana, then Clarissa’s past affections also came back to haunt him, as if they came together and made him dizzy.

“Arghhh!” Dean growled then punched the bathroom glass until it shattered and his hand was bleeding. He sat against the wall in the shower and cried. ‘You all mean too much to me. But you guys also frustrate me!”

Until a few minutes passed, Dean came out of the bathroom to the walk-in closet. He took the clothes and remembered often making out with Bryana in that room too. “I don’t know if I can’t control my emotions. I feel tired and dizzy. I can’t go on like this, I need peace,” he said.

Dean immediately put on clothes in the form of a black hoodie combined with brown jeans. He walked over to the dressing table chair and looked in the mirror while brushing his hair. Again Bryana’s image appeared in the mirror, but he held back his emotions by looking down until his eyes found his wife’s favorite bright red lipstick.

“Maybe I should go to cool off, though I don’t know when I’ll be back,” Dean muttered wistfully at the lipstick, then used it to write a sentence in the mirror. Maybe it was a message he gave Bryana.

After writing on the mirror with lipstick, Dean turned to the table by the bed and opened the wallet, and took all the credit cards Stevan had given him leaving only his credit card and a few bills.

“I’m not going to use your facilities again, Stevan,” Dean muttered as he looked at the several credit cards he had taken out of his wallet, then pocketed the wallet.

Dean packed up some of the clothes he had before marrying Bryana, but he left the Bodyguard outfit behind. “Starting tonight, the word Bodyguard will no longer be who I am,” he said then pulled out his Bodyguard ID card from his wallet.

After packing, Dean walked out of the room to Sofia’s room. He was silent because his mother did not want to come with him and did not allow him to take her daughter. The man then turned to walk up the stairs until he arrived at the ground floor. He immediately left the house without answering questions from the bodyguards who looked surprised at his sudden departure without even using a car.

Lily, who was sleeping with Sofia, woke up when she heard a knock on the bedroom door. She immediately got out of bed and walked to the door and opened it.

“Susan,” said Lily.

“Ma’am, did Mr. Dean say where he was going? He just came out of this house bring a bag and didn’t drive a car.” Susan asked and told at the same time.

“He was gone? oh my god, he’s stubborn and can’t contain his anger.” Lily looked shocked by this news, but she tried to stay calm because Sofia was still with her, which would surely keep Dean from leaving for a long time.

“How Mrs? do we have to send some Bodyguards to look for him?” asked Susan, knowing the instability of her employer’s family.

“Leave it alone, Susan. Maybe he just needs to calm down. I’m sure he won’t be able to stay away from Sofia or Bryana for long. if we force him to go home by deploying bodyguards, it will make him even more annoyed,” answered Lily confidently.

“Okay then, ma’am,” said Susan.

Lily nodded and allowed Susan to leave while she returned to the room to accompany Sofia to sleep.

Dean walked silently with his head down. The only thing in his head was the image of Clarissa and Bryana. they took turns filling his brain, making him sink in pain to the point of wanting to run if he could forget all the good and dark memories with the two women.

Suddenly Dean was kicked from behind until he found. he turned to look at two thugs of tall, rather skinny build with tattoos on their arms and unkempt clothes. Those who smirked evilly at him and pulled him back to stand up.

Dean was just silent and lazy to respond because his heart was sad and he didn’t even have the spirit to live.

“Hey, can’t you talk?” asked the thin thug with long hair, almost like a man addicted to alcohol.

“Take what you want, if necessary kill me,” said Dean with a flat look. Yes, he wanted to die instead of being overshadowed by a dark past, guilt for Clarissa, a feeling of inadequacy, and fear of hurting Bryana or killing Stevan by mistake.

The two thugs laughed in surprise looking at Dean who looked like someone tired of living.

“Looks like you are already tired of living. Incidentally, my hand hasn’t beaten anyone since yesterday. Seeing your burly body, it would be very fun for me to be your opponent,” said a rather fat thug with a bare head.

“Yeah, kill me if you can,” Dean shouted.

Without thinking anymore, the two thugs beat Dean blindly, but the one who was beaten just gave up and refused to fight until he fell on the hard asphalt. His face was battered with bloody lips, he turned to look at the two thugs eager to beat him again.

Dean coughed and bled from his mouth after being bounced off of their kick. he curled up while holding his stomach which was in so much pain, even a dizzy feeling ran through his head until he was no longer conscious when the thug took his bag and wallet, then just left.

A Jeep pulled up near Dean’s body. two young men got out of the car and approached the unconscious Dean.

“Mike, do you think he was a hit and run victim?” asked the blond boy.

“You idiot, it’s obvious he’s battered as someone beat him up!” exclaimed the black-haired man with the mohawk style named Mike.

“It’s a pity, even though his body is strong, how can he lose when he gets beat up,” muttered the blonde-haired man.

“I don’t know, we should take him to our rented house. The wound is quite serious, it’s a pity if it is not treated immediately,” Mike exclaimed.

Finally, Dean was picked up and led into the Jeep. they took Dean in a direction far enough from Bryana’s house. Hmm, I hope they are not bad guys….
